  • InsydeH2O Version 1.40<--- please take the time to go into the bios and see if it has a floating point adjustment available.
  • In my signature <spoiler> there is a link to a file that might help you but, it's an i3 Processor.
  • Now, you do in fact have a conflict posted right here in the specs, care to take a guess what it is?

do those 2 things first and I'll sit here and wait for you.

The only thing that's stopping me is that I dont know what a floating point adjustment is. I have no idea

1. Bios Version?

2.Dx Setup parameters?

  • 1st conflict is here User DPI Setting: 120 DPI (125 percent)

System DPI Setting: 96 DPI (100 percent)

    DWM DPI Scaling: Disabled

  • Enable it
  • DxDiag Version: 6.01.7601.17514 32bit Unicode is the correct format but wrong version as the OS is 64bit, so that means you don't have the right file needed for that i3 to run that game. it's complicated, Toshiba did some strange things and that laptop note book is cooking something awful, it's hot man.
  • place the dll from the link into the games folder right where the executable for the game resides. and go into it and see if the bug is gone.
  • if not? reinstall the 32bit version of dx9c into that machine if it will allow you that is?

Floating point adjustments were proprietary only on some note books, it would stick out like a sore thumb if you had it, Big Bold letters.

If you don't, No worries, it's a notebook.

For the DPI, I could only go to "make text and other items larger or smaller" in display in the control panel

I'm assuming it's right becuase it says that medium is 125% and small is 100%.

It's was set on medium and I set it to small

and the bug didn't disappear with the dll file so I will try the reinstallation if it lets me.

for one, and I am amazed that the game even runs at all LOL, but more power to you for it. I hope you have a cooler for that notebook, U have to have one for mine, It melted the doilies on my table top once. they were made of thing plastic. smelled awful too. I know what happens. I had a satellite once, it had the AMD processor though and it still cooked.

1 other thing I see there in that pint out, you don't have extended ram being used on that system, why not?<----that's the swap file size.

it should be no greater than the amount of ram the machine carries. you have 4gigs usable? you have an extended swap file that same size for breathing room and data processing or you spike the limits to the roof and kill it dead.

I can agree to that. My Toshiba Satellite a505 ran hot almost all the time. Kept it on a dual fan cooler. Didn't help much. I suppose tho that's what kept it from going completely out till a little while ago. The a505's have had a rather bad history with graphics unfortunately. Some google searches and you'll see a lot of people having issues shortly after purchase. I guess since I used a fan cooler and didn't transport it around much, mine lasted longer (about 3 years).

All I can say is take care. Skyrim ran decent at medium and low settings but I couldn't really put a lot of mods on without overburdening something. I only had issues like your pictures once or twice and that was when I had too many mods installed.

Hopefully you can work thru your issues and not have a total graphics failure.

Good luck
