Tutorial request section

I believe this could be beneficial to all to have a request forum for tutorials. Because I'm sure like others that want to take a shot at modding some of us don't know where to start. Like me for instance i would love to see a tutorial on how to put shader effects on weapons and armor besides the stealth boy effect. This could be beneficial also for those kudos hunters :P too to get more publicity for their mods or to get their name out in the community more.

i see where you are coming from, but having a separate forum for such things will also help ease the site navigation not having to go through 20 pages of stuff unrelated to what you are looking for. Seeing general mod talk and tutorials are 2 completely separate issues ones to figure out why your mod isn't working where as tutorials are showing you what to do to get started on learning things.

I've run a graphics site for 4 years and we had general graphics discussion and a tutorial section it helped the mods and admins be able to moderate a lot better and it kept the natives at bay when it came to finding stuff it also decreased the where is this topics cluttering and taking up valid space from those too lazy to search.

I still think Terminator's suggestion sounds best.

If you post a question on how to do something...such as how to apply shader FX to a weapon, the community might point you to an existing tutorial here or elsewhere and if there is not one and somebody helps you figure this out, I would like to suggest to the people "getting" help to actually write a tutorial that answers the question they had and helps teach others how to do it. The Article Database here on TESNexus / Fallout3Nexus is an excellent place to place (and search) such tutorials.

Having a "Tutorial Request" section is not necessarily going to yield good search results for answers...more likely good results for others who had the same question. Again, I propose that anyone that learns something that is not already documented, please write it down and post a "How To" tutorial in the Article Database.
