Tidus44 Posted July 21, 2013 Share Posted July 21, 2013 (edited) I spent 18 months on a hermaphrodite brig with the RN - which when mentioned in conversation always raises the eyebrows of someone who has no idea what it means. I was once asked what I did to get thrown into jail with a bunch of hermaphrodites. Hermaphrodite brig - a brigantine a two masted ship with a square rigged foremast and a fore/aft rig on the aft mast.
