Found this today while reading - always interesting seeing a TES reference. Hircine; of, pertaining to, or resembling a goat or having a goatish odor or one who is libidinous; meaning full of sexual lust; lustful; lewd; lascivious; of, pertaining to, or characteristic of the libido..

 

Synesthesia. So that explains why the sound of a concrete block wall falling onto my helmet was the reason I saw black. Just joking - a bit of profession humor.

synecdoche; A figure of speech by which a less inclusive term is used for a more inclusive term or vice versa. As in "Unplug and punch out" to say "Turn off the computer and quit work for the day".

Found the perfect word to describe most people who work in my job. misoneism: hatred or dislike of what is new or represents change. The motto of too many in my profession is "150 years of tradition unimpeded by progress."

Avatistic- reverting or adopting characteristics of a more primitive time...something I relearned after losing power for 4-5 days in sub zero weather...internal house temp reached 37f ... :sad: It gave new meaning to a "two dog night"... :ninja:
