Aurielius
The French existentialist Jean-Paul Sartre was sitting in a cafe when a waitress approached him: "Can I get you something to drink, Monsieur Sartre?"Sartre replied, "Yes, I`d like a cup of coffee with sugar, but no cream" .Nodding agreement, the waitress walked off to fill the order and Sartre returned to working. A few minutes later, however, the waitress returned and said, "I`m sorry, Monsieur Sartre, we are all out of cream -- how about with no milk?" Pasquinade- satirical lampooning
Tidus44
quincunx; An arrangement of five things with four at the corners of a square and one in the middle. Hope today is slower. At least it isn't freezing rain and snow like it was yesterday. A few days of dry roads and it seems everyone forgets how to drive, then a bit of ice and snow and its bumper cars all day. Tidus44
jubilant; joy, satisfaction, or triumph. Been playing Skyrim again and after all the times I have played, the game finally let me play all the way through "Blood on the Ice" without crashing, glitching or being plain weird. I even saved the girl from the murderer because I have the quick shot perk for archery. Strange how something as meaningless as finishing a quest in a game can cause a smile on one's face. Aurielius
Having taken a break from Skyim and all RPG's..am having much fun playing Rome Total War 2. Just finished a victorious battle with a neophyte Roman Legion Decimating ( to slaughter) four Carthaginian armies with minimal losses. I do enjoy near run things where the outcome is in doubt at the outset.

Tidus44
elision; dropping a sound or syllable in a word - as in saying lib-ary instead of library, fam-ly instead of family, etc. New sign in the dispatch and communication center reminding dispatchers that slurring and mispronunciation cause miscommunication. Tidus44
Ah, le bon mot, Aurielius.... I had been thinking desultory (jumping from subject to subject; erratic; inconsistent) but that seemed to have a more negative connotation.

Tidus44
Groan... but lol. When I need to meditate I go to my growlery; a retreat for times of ill humour.
