Tidus44
My disappointment in missing the Oblivion Walker is assuaged (softened, lessened) by the award I found in the mod “Achieve That”. It didn’t fail to give me the award and further, I have sufficient points in the Hall of Glory to obtain a complete set of daedric armour.

I especially like the selfies of Azura and Molag Bal That Noninclusion is very remiss of steam.
Tidus44
I had to take a look and the only Steam card for Skyrim I have is a Frost Troll. Wondering who I have to kill to earn a card on Steam or find those posters. Regardless of Steam, I feel pancratic in Skyrim (accomplished in many forms or having a mastery over numerous subjects). I just completed the Thieves Guild quest "The Dainty Sload" without using a potion of invisibility and without killing any of the corsairs/sailors on the ship. In and out like a shadow, even the Mastery Lock on the chest was easy. The daedric armour looks pretty good in the entry to my house located just outside of Solitude. Aurielius
Venal accomplishments (minor) provide only Transitory (fleeting) satisfaction but then again I hate Steam with a passion and only play offline. Doesn't it affect your fps to leave it running in the background?
Tidus44
My previous playthroughs of Skyrim were done with Steam offline, but in doing so I didn’t receive the achievements that Skyrim/Steam awards for the various accomplishments within the game. Honestly, on initial playthroughs I wasn’t actually aware they existed and even if I did know, it wouldn’t have mattered. However, my motivation for running Steam online and obtaining the achievement awards is just being a juvenile aretaloger; (one who boasts about their accomplishments, ie: “bragging rights”) in a friendly competition between me and a young lady who lives next door who re-introduced me to gaming some years back by giving me Morrowind and the Oblivion/Bioshock combo. I suppose my computer is good enough as with Steam running I am getting 55-65 FPS (according to FRAPS) and the game runs smoothly; I have not noticed a stutter at all. The only place it seems to dip is in Whiterun and the FPS consistently drops to 40-45, but it still runs smoothly. I am at around 300 hours since restarting Skyrim in January and I have only had one CTD that seems to have been caused by a mod. I am running 103 mods, but they don’t seem to impact anything with my current game setup as the game has been running pretty consistently since I started. I would suggest that I am likely more “lucky” than skilled as far as having the game run so well.
Aurielius
Well since the Serendipitous heads up ( fortuitous accident) from a friend I'm playing The Tesla Effect, the return of Tex Murphy after an sixteen year absence.
Tidus44
I invented a new word today – plagiarism. Looked up the Tex Murphy game and looks interesting. Need to perform an additament (augment, addition/add to) my Steam account (Wolfenstein is coming) so I'm thinking I'll be downloading and installing The Tesla Effect on the weekend. Tidus44
Apparently, a sick child can be suffering from bucolic (an idyllic rural setting) - at least according to the EMS call sheet I read this morning. Tidus44
I found it somewhat striking that camorra – meaning a secret society (such as the Mafia), and usually one that's breaking the law, is very similar to camonna as in Camonna Tong. I actually read the word as camonna initially. One wonders at the game developers if they do such things purposely.
