VampiricDolphin
I have already moved the .ini file and saved games to where I want them, but how do I make it so oblivion recognizes this new location? I.e. when I start up the game now, it creates a brand new .ini file in the original location and my saved games do not show up. I am unsure of how to get the launcher to use the new file path. If this is impossible without re-installing the game, please let me know. I appreciate the advice!
Hickory
Why would you want to? It is properly located in \Documents\My Games\Oblivion\. The game knows it is there, and a re-install will put it back there: it's the place the game uses.
TheRomans
Yeah, usually the folder you want to move to avoid Windows permissions issues is the the Bethesda/Oblivion folder out of program files, not the Documents/My Games/Oblivion one.
