lessien881
As I come to an end to my Fallout 3 play through with two and a half DLC left to complete, I thought Id come here to ask a few questions I have about NV before I dive into it. If you can answer all or one of them Id be very thankful for your assistance. 1.) Load Order - I have most of my mods already installed. I followed Gophers Mod videos/clinic. I just need to work the load order out and not sure the best way to do so. I ran boss but am unsure what needs changing after boss has been run GameMode=FalloutNV FalloutNV.esm=1DeadMoney.esm=1HonestHearts.esm=1OldWorldBlues.esm=1LonesomeRoad.esm=1GunRunnersArsenal.esm=1ClassicPack.esm=1MercenaryPack.esm=1TribalPack.esm=1CaravanPack.esm=1Advanced Recon Tech.esm=1CINEMATECH.esm=1Detect Traps.esm=1Lucky38Suite_Reloaded.esm=1AWorldOfPain(Preview).esm=1Project Nevada - Core.esm=1Project Nevada - Equipment.esm=1ELECTRO-CITY - CompletedWorkorders.esm=1oHUD.esm=1New Vegas Redesigned II.esm=1Project Nevada - Rebalance.esp=1Project Nevada - Cyberware.esp=1DarNifiedUINV.esp=1CASM.esp=1The Mod Configuration Menu.esp=1The Weapon Mod Menu.esp=1Project Nevada - Dead Money.esp=1Project Nevada - Honest Hearts.esp=1Project Nevada - Old World Blues.esp=1Project Nevada - Lonesome Road.esp=1Project Nevada - Gun Runners' Arsenal.esp=1NewVegasBounties.esp=1Cowboy Perk Complete - New Vegas Bounties.esp=1Detect Traps - Perk.esp=1Detect Traps - Traponator 4000.esp=1Detect Traps - DLC.esp=1Advanced Recon Gear.esp=1Advanced Recon Tech.esp=1Advanced Recon Tech - Detect Traps.esp=1IDreamOfElectricSheep.esp=1Advanced Recon Armor.esp=1Advanced Recon Desert Ranger Helmet.esp=1Advanced Recon Range Finder.esp=1Advanced Recon Gear - Project Nevada.esp=1Armored Duster.esp=1Dark Justice Duster.esp=1FlashlightNVSE.esp=1JRougeRangerCoats4Loot.esp=1NVR- Recommended.esp=1New Vegas redesigned- Honest Hearts.esp=1Voice dissonance fix.esp=1AWOPDeadMoney.esp=1AWOPLowRobots.esp=1AWOP-LowNPCS.esp=1AWOPLowLootGeneral.esp=1AWOPLowLootMWeapons.esp=1AWOPLowLootMWeaponsArmor.esp=1AWOPLowLootSkillBooks.esp=1Mojave Nights.esp=1WeaponModsExpanded.esp=1Project Nevada - WMX.esp=1WMX-DeadMoney.esp=1WMX-HonestHearts.esp=1WMX-OldWorldBlues.esp=1WMX-LonesomeRoad.esp=1WMX-GunRunnersArsenal.esp=1WMX-ArenovalisTextures.esp=1WMX-PreOrderPackMercenary.esp=1EVE FNV - ALL DLC.esp=1WMX-EVE-AllDLC.esp=1Project Nevada - EVE All DLC.esp=1ProjectRealityMkIv5HDR.esp=1DYNAVISION 2 - Dynamic Lens Effect.esp=1ELECTRO-CITY - Imaginator.esp=1Directors Chair.esp=1EVE FNV - NO GRA.esp=1EVE FNV - NO DLC.esp=1WMX-EVE-NoGRA.esp=1WMX-EVE-NoDLC.esp=1Project Nevada - EVE No DLC.esp=1Project Nevada - EVE No GRA.esp=1I Got Spurs.esp=1AWOPDeadMoneyVendorPatch.esp=1My Merged Patch.esp=1 If you can take a look and see if something jumps out at you that would be fantastic! 2.) One of the issues I have with fallout 3 is I walk around in sneak a LOT. I haven't gone looking for one yet because im unsure how to word the search but is there a mod for my NV play through that will remove the annoying "Im watching you!" "I hope you are not planning on taking that". 3.) For Fallout 3, Other than the main story and DLC are there any quest I should go out of my way to complete? I generally dont like looking ahead at things. I basically run around doing the main quest or DLC and if i see a building or city go in there and explore and if i find a quest i do it else i dont look up quest to do. This makes additional plays more fun to find new things, but I was just curious if there is some funny or really interesting quest I should do for story before heading off the the deserts of Nevada. JimboUK
NV is set very differently to FO3, there isn't a main quest and a bunch of disjointed side quests, the main quest branches off and what quests you end up doing really depends on what path you choose to follow, just play it and go with things, the quests will present themselves. Do remember you can't play all sides and if you upset one faction too much you can wave goodbye to their quests. Multiple playthroughs are required to see everything. lessien881
Well thanks for the answer! Im currently still working on special and perks to see what I need to do and where to go with skill placement per level. I generally like to have a plan before diving into things. JimboUK
The first time I played I just did what I thought my character would do, the game let me do that and it worked out well.
GamerChas
A little late and you may have started already. But, they removed the annoying "I hope you are not .." and the "I am watching .." from NV. FONV was made by a different company than FO3 so there are a lot of core differences. Even though it uses the same game engine. PS One other big change. FO3 allows you to continue exploring after completing the main task. FONV does not. There is a warning in game: this is the end, are you sure you want to do this? Edited June 29, 2013 by GamerChas
