Skyrim: FPS Problem With Good Computer?

Hi everyone,

I got a question and i really hope that you guys can help me. Right now i've started to play Skyrim on my new Gaming PC and i was suprised about the FPS i get, without mods i get 60FPS+....but with mods i get not the best performance at all. Of course this is nothing new to me, i know that some mods are real FPS killers, but i didn't expect that it would go down so much. Anyway, this is my system/pc:

http://forums.nexusmods.com/uploads//monthly_06_2013/post-4776579-0-76745200-1371948174_thumb.jpg

These are the mods that i am using, i was expecting that it should be able to handle it with 60FPS, dosn't matter where i am.

Right now i'm getting around 35-40FPS in the nature/enviroment, in cities like Whiterun i get around 30-38FPS and in Houses/Inn locations around 59FPS.

My Load List:

My Mods:

1. http://gyazo.com/0cf...99e8349076a2f51

2. http://gyazo.com/b4c...ddc21a2826a79e1

3. http://gyazo.com/b3c...f4221ae7b6bb2df

I'm also using the ENB serie RealVision(http://skyrim.nexusm...id=905060&pUp=1). Unfortunely i also needed to downgrade my Nvidia Driver from 320.18 to 314.22 to be able to use the ENB correctly.

I'm also running Skyrim in Windowed mode with the Borderless mod. I don't know what could be wrong, is it the ENB+old driver that slows down my performance? What can i do and what can you guys recommend?

I really hope you can help me, already thanks if you took your time reading my post! :-)

P.s, sorry for my english, it's not my native language.

This is normal... I run a heavy overclocked GTX680 @ 1.3 / 6.8 Ghz and and i5 @ 4.5Ghz and I pull between 40-50FPS outside on a heavy modded game.

The problem is ENB, ENB uses software rendering opposed to hardware, which is much faster.

You can try and overclock your gtx680, they can easily hit 1.2Ghz on core and 6.5 on mem... that will gain you about 20% performance. Those chips have a lot of room - see the new GTX770, uses the same chip, much higher clock speeds. Just download the new beta version of MSI Afterburner, install only the overclocking utility (not the OSD! it crashes your game using ENB)...

Unlock voltage control in the settings, and put both voltage and power limit to the maximum (don't worry, Kelper chips have dynamic voltage and Nvidia limited the voltage to 1.175 so you cannot fry your chip). Then put you Core to +150 and mem to +250 (you can probably hit +400 without issues)... hit apply and test... put on the MSI monitoring and play some Skyrim... after that close the game and check if powerlevels stayed around 100% (it should)... the core speed should hover around 1228 Mhz... if it dropped back to 1084 your chip wasn't able to handle it, or it got too hot and got throttled back automatically. I dunno how experienced you are with overclocking, there's a lot of good guides to overclock the Kelper chip you have, for instance: http://www.overclock.net/t/1265110/the-gtx-670-overclocking-master-guide

Wow, alright, ive already heared of overclocking before, but i have never done it, i'm very unexperienced with it. Guess i have to read some guides, but good to know that it's normal. Isn't it with overclocking where you can destroy your graphic card? Anyway, thanks for answer! :)

In old days you could destroy your card, sure... but these days there a few limits which have been fixed by the chip manufacturers and safety measures to ensure you don't blow stuff up... max. you manage to crash your system/vid driver and youll have to reboot. Cards even come with overclocking utilities and big advertising on the box "Stable Overclocking" and whatnot. I'm even convinced they intentionally deliver the cards on lower clocks to have people go crazy on forums that they manage to get a 25% or 35% overclock and the card becomes a "overclocking legend" ...

Man I do miss the days overclocking so hard that I have literally seen my mobo go up in smoke when by north bridge started to glow white from heat and vaporize (oops)     these days, no such fun.

Hahaha alright, but overclockling looks like something very awesome then, i mean, who dosn't want better performance?! Just one last question, do you think that i only should overclock my GTX680 or my i7-3370k aswell?
