Yup. i dont really think we are arguing, neok, just discussing things. /salute LHammonds

Sometimes corporations (ie game publishers) will go out of their way to stomp on individuals to make a point and flex their legal muscles... because they can.... arguably its a good way to turn off fans and would-be customers... I guess the suits dont see mods as anything except IP theft. For shame

@LHammonds: Knowing that i understand the stance a bit more. I was not aware that Bethesda had asked people not to do this. And if Bethesda asks then it makes perfect sense for this site to not allow it. As i've said, i have no problems with the rule here and you guys are some of the most respectful and understanding management i've ever seen in a modding community. I do have my views and i still strongly believe that way though i'm not gonna question the rules here.

@Skree: yea were having a good discussion, that was mostly to anyone who's going to start a fight over it.

What was the name of the esp? I had it but then I forgot to save outside the place with the armor, so it crashes now. I was just going to restart or try to pull a save from when I was outside but they all seem to have the suit on. I also had two nanosuit mods and I'm not sure which is which.

Blarg, I feel for yall. I was lucky to grab a version before the ban hammer came down, then my roommate reinstalled the game and I lost it. To think that was a month ago. Things tend to go fast in forums. I agree with the saying, "When in rome, do what the Romans do." I like this site, so rules are rules. I remember my roommate saying, "Dude! you should tell the modders to build a giant Technodrome (Shredders fortress from teenage mutant ninja turtles)". I laughed and said, "that would be awesome! but...but...but.." He said, "But what?". I responded..."but noone will do it...lol...it's too non-canon....besides there are copy rights...". Copy right lulz. Technically it's not illegal to mod a replica as long as no money is made from it and all credit is given to the reference....but rules don't see technicalities. I recall a legal argument was brought up for that MMO City of Heroes, where MARVEL was pissed because some guy made his character to look like the Hulk and Wolverine. Of course, the COH creators won because they argued that it was the players that created the characters, and they didn't encourage that, and since the character customization was so broad, it was merely coincidence and unintended. The G.E.C.K. is huge. The fact that Juno came up with a mode that gave justice to the nano suit is pure skill. Pure skill. Anyway, Kudos to you. And as for the Nexus....I don't hate you. =)

@etherealblade: It was never junin's mod getting banned because the idea was copyright, it was because the materials he was / is using comes from Crytek's Crysis game (ie actual models taken out of the game).

It's like there is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle game with the Technodrome in it, and some modder exporting the model/s from said game and importing them into Fallout 3, that would be against the Nexus rules and so could not be hosted here. Now if some modder designed a Technodrome model / model set from scratch and put it into Fallout 3 that would be within the rules.
