fftfan
Final Fantasy XV will be an ARPG, and the combat looks like it could be better than Skyrim. SE has stated that sequels might be made. They are developing the game on DirectX 11 to port the game to PS4 and Xbox One, they are undecided on possibly releasing PC: http://www.gamespot.com/news/square-enix-pc-version-of-final-fantasy-xv-undecided-6410435 "Hashimoto said that the company was waiting to gauge audience demand before making a decision on a PC version"I had an idea, what if Dark0ne were to voice support to SE for FF XV on PC on behalf of the community, and what if he also suggested adding modding support? SE is using a new engine called Luminous, which is being developed alongside FF XV. The game looks very good from the trailers at E3, it could potentially be the next hugely popular game for modding. If Dark0ne gave support on behalf of over 5.77 million members, I think they could decide to go ahead with a PC release, and maybe Square Enix would be also interested in modding after seeing how big the modding community is. For me it'd be a dream come true to some day visit a Final Fantasy Nexus. Thank you in advance! EnaiSiaion
To be fair, "combat that is better than Skyrim" is not exactly difficult. Also, if this game doesn't enable modding, then supporting it would be counterproductive for the Nexus, right?
fftfan
If Dark0ne contacted Square Enix, he could show them just howbig the modding community is which also shows pc is popular. SE could see potential sales from this. Nexus could get more members as a result
fftfan
XV's engine still in development, it might be possible to add some form of mod support still. If they release on pc and give powerful mod tools, and a Final Fantasy Nexus went up to support the game, that could benefit both SE and the Nexus by creating the best modding capable JRPG. As a result many Final Fantasy and JRPG fans would join the Nexus community and the people in the community could get a really good game create mods for until TES:VI and Fallout 4 are released. I think due to the size of the Nexus community, maybe all it would take would be to make SE aware of the Nexus to get them interested in supporting modding.
