Level After 20 mods, and Anchorage? Any problems?

I picked up some mods that allow you to level after lvl 20, and put them on my game. I think I'm in-between levels 20 and 21 now.

But I am concerned on what effect, if any, they'll have on my game when I pick up the expansions for Fallout 3, like Anchorage.

Has any one tried this out? Does the game just reset your level to 20? Or is there maybe a way to do so?

If I'm not mistaken, you can't remove or uninstall the mods right? Am I stuck?

Thanks for any help you can give!

Theoretically it shouldn't affect anything, unless Bethesda releases a DLC which removes the level cap which implements the removal in the exact same manner as the mods in question - in which case you just stop using the mods and use the official removal of the level cap. The data "contained" by your character is not affected by outside changes like using different mods, unless the dataset of your character itself has been altered and contains something which is completely unreadable without the mods in question.

As far as I know the soonest we'll see a removal of the level cap will be in the third DLC package, so I wouldn't worry about it yet. Operation Anchorage should work fine at least, as it doesn't really introduce game altering changes like level cap removal or additional perks - it's more like a booster pack that adds a few new areas and nothing more.

You should be fine I was a rehter high level when I got and installed Anchorage and played it through and my level was not changed.

Also the first time I did it the outcasts turned agenst me and started to attack me so I reloaded it and did the last part again and it was fine.

bump, noone have a short reply to tell me a name of a lvl20+ mod?

You could search the modbase for a fitting mod yourself instead of expecting other people to do the work for you? :whistling:

thanks for help hellkat9940

Baelkin, yeah well I have tried different search options + gone through ~200mods in "gameplay effects and changes" without finding any, so I don't think it takes someones time to mention the real name of the mod / what mod category I should look for now does it?
