Skyrim Crashing Using D3D9.dll

Sorry for the late reply, went to bed. I had no directx because I factory reset my pc. I installed the latest version now my skyrim loader will launch but when I click play it crashes to desktop this time displaying no error at all. I can't seem to find the injector files on the realvision files page..

To install injector keep realvision files in Skyrim folder, remove the d3d9.dll from Skyrim folder completely.

In the download from ENB website where you got the d3d9.dll from Wrapper folder there should also be an Injector folder. Injector is an .exe file, not .dll

You need to edit enbinjector.ini which you also have to place in Skyrim folder next to the .exe and the .dll

Copy to Skyrim folder from Injector folder next to realvision files:

ENBInjector.exe
enbinjector.ini
enbseries.dll

Inside the ini file you see this... depending if you use another launcher (SKSE) you might have to edit it:

[LIBRARY]
LibraryName=enbseries.dll

[TARGETPROCESS]
ProcessName0=SkyrimLauncher.exe
ProcessName1=tesv.exe
ProcessName2=
ProcessName3=
ProcessName4=
ProcessName5=
ProcessName6=
ProcessName7=
ProcessName8=
ProcessName9=
ProcessName10=
ProcessName11=
ProcessName12=
ProcessName13=
ProcessName14=
ProcessName15=

Then start the injector exe, and after that start to game up as you normally would.

Did you have any gpu overclocking utilities running?

Pretty much all rivatuner based programs eg. MSI afterburner, evga precision sapphire trixx and the likes will not work with enb. If you do close the program and you can run the wrapper version.

I had nothing open other than Skyrim at the time. Anyways, my ENB is working even with the d3d9.dll file, idk what made it work. But everythings all fine now and i'm playing around with different ENB's with no problem. Thanks all :smile:
