Put it this way.My GTX 660 has a core speed of 1013Mhz.A regular GTX Titan has a core speed of 915Mhz.If mhz was what really mattered, my 660 would be faster than a Titan. In reality, the Titan is like 200% better than my GTX 660. Core speed does not matter that much. Using it to compare graphics cards will probably not end well.
