Assassination mod - Poisoning food/drinks/cooking pots

I could see this being doable through an inventory check and dialogue window, so if someone has poison they could pour it into say a bottle of Nord Mead or into an Apple Pie. It would have to be scripted to get the target food/drink items location on an x,y,z and orientation and then swap them with the poisoned version.

 

The thing then would be to make duplicates of each food/drink item in the game to serve as poisoned versions of each food to do it.

 

I think this would be pretty doable, but sadly atm I don't have the time to do it myself. However, in the spirit of me being a nice person and such, OP if you want to work on it and get stuck and need a question answered I'll do my best to answer the question. I can't guarantee though if the answer will be right or not though. Goodluck

That sounds awesome, almost like the poisoned apples in Oblivion. :-D But I don't think I have the brain to do it, I can come up with ideas on mods, but that's pretty much it, I know nothing about the CK and I have attention problems when it comes to learning complex things, you'll likely have a much better chance to do it than me, it looks like you know lots about this stuff. :-)

Well I checked and there are NPC eating AI packages inwhich they look for food in locations when they are hungry.

 

So I added a modified green apple which is poisoned for skyrim along with a bunch of various multi-effect poisons for use for Simniac. Everything is purchasable from Acadia in Whiterun.

*Note: the apple is not exactly like from Oblivion, as it doesn't grant an ability that does health damage. I have it designed to temporarily paralyze its target then to drain magic & stamina at a fairly fast rate, slow the target and then drain health at a slow rate. The effects last 31 Days worth of playing (seeing as it was impossible to cure the poison apple effect from oblivion (although you could counter it by a constant effect restore health enchant which restored health at an equal or better rate than the poison damage). If the apple's target can last the 31 Days then great it can live, otherwise well it ends up how you'd expect it to.
