kii4u Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 Hi! After todays update none of asi files working for me, quite painfull coz LML folder dont work either. So my question is - anyone else expecting same trouble, I have to wait until new scripthook comes out? Or maybe while game been updating something got removed from rdr2 folder and I have to reinstall mods? If I remember correctly like that has been with GtaV after the update some mod files are removed.
Ch33zyV Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 same issues here, non of my mods work but im expecting it broke ScriptHookRDR2 and it will take a few days to remedy as it always does when there is a new update.

Same here, started playing yesterday and now comes Rockstar around and say's no. :confused:
lampen Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Hey Guys, just wanted to inform you that with the newest update I have mine installed mods running, which use the latest available Scripthook. Try these steps: You have to download the ASI-Loader 0.2 from here: https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/9-rdr-2-asi-loader/ Remove the "dinput8.dll" file in your "Red Dead Redemption 2" folder (where the RDR2.exe is) Put the "version.dll" from previous downloaded ASI-Loader 0.2 into your game folder (same place where you removed the dinput8.dll) Start the gameAfter that I hope you get your mods also running. My game is on Steam.
CarrieFisher Posted July 14, 2021 Posted July 14, 2021 Delete dinput8.dll from RDR2's directory and substitute it with version.dll from here: https://www.rdr2mods.com/downloads/rdr2/tools/9-rdr-2-asi-loader. Then launch RDR2 directly from RDR2.exe in the directory. (It might take a few moments for the Rockstar Launcher to initialize.) Should enable your mods again as a temporary fix.
