Smosh
I haven't done it myself but I'm guessing you need to put the saved game file into your saved game folder. It is normally found My Documents\My Games\Fallout3\Saves If you don't mind me asking, why would you want to play somebody else's save game? Nyrual
1) I tried that and I couldn't load up the file to play it 2) It's a custom scenario
Skotte
1) I tried that and I couldn't load up the file to play it 2) It's a custom scenario What is the extension on that file? if it's ".fos" then it's a save file, but if my hunch is correct you have an ".esp" file (a plugin file) and you'd need to put that in the "data" folder where Fallout 3 is installed with any other folders & files that came with it. then you need to activate with the launcher. FOMM is a good launcher
Nyrual
It's a .fos. I put it in the Save folder, but I cannot load it to play it. Is there some trick, like do I have to rename it or start a new game or something?
PimpBot420
Are you running your game under Games For Windows Live? Saves using G4WL are in a different directory than saves not using it. If it's in your Saves folder then it's for when you are not signed in to G4WL. So you can keep it in that folder and simply sign out of G4WL (Home key) in the main menu screen to load that game, or move it to the directory that is named after your Live account. For exampleSigned in to G4WL ...\ My Games\Fallout3\Saves\(User Account Name)Signed out of G4WL ...\ My Games\Fallout3\Saves I don't know if this is the issue you're having, but it's worth a shot.
