TagManDK
HI... So basically, my question is, if it's possible to revive an NPC after their bodies are gone? It's just that the Sheriff of Megaton is dead, after that dumbass gangster shot him in Moriarty's Saloon, and I left the place, so his body's gone now. Any help is greatly appreciated. :)
frankc
prid 3b46moveto player <- this is entirely optional, but it will make it easier to see that the commands took properlydisableenableresurrect If the current target ever goes blank in between any of these steps you need to do the prid command again to retarget, the fo3 console seems to lose its target for no reason I can determine. There is a global script that tracks conversation stages per town, so his son and the rest of the townspeople will still talk like he's dead. If you really care about that you can spend some time in the GECK and track down exactly what stage was set when he died and reverse it, but it seems like a lot of trouble :) Good luck. frankc
A follower is generally easier to fully resurrect, you need to reset their hiring quest and that's that. With Simms or any other npc involved in a quest it touches little variables all over the place - it's not hard to fix up, just a bit tedious and could potentially bite you in the rear 10 hours into your game when some "can't happen" condition happens because you missed resetting a variable.
