ENB + CoT

So I have Porject ENB and Climates of Tamriel installed.

 

The main issue that is putting me off visually is the lack of dark caves, they are as bright as ever and I do not know what the problem is.

 

Mods I have are as follows:

Not sure what is conflicting in that list, any tips/advice is appreciated.

 

But like I said, not having dark caves even with lowest brightness is a mood killer! I want my caves creepy :D

You dont have CoT dungeon modules installed or another mod that handles dungeon (interior) lights. So yes, they are vanilla.

If you have the dark dungeon modules from CoT (not the ENB one) installed, then put your load order of plugins here... you can create one with BOSS, which will also attempt to sort your load order, in case it's wrong (or right and BOSS messed up :wink:)

 

ENB Darker Dungeons just sets dungeons to "Night" as far as I understood, in vanilla they are left on "Day"

You dont have CoT dungeon modules installed or another mod that handles dungeon (interior) lights. So yes, they are vanilla.

If you have the dark dungeon modules from CoT (not the ENB one) installed, then put your load order of plugins here... you can create one with BOSS, which will also attempt to sort your load order, in case it's wrong (or right and BOSS messed up :wink:)

This is from BOSS, is it claiming I have Realistic Lighting Overhaul installed? I can't find that anywhere, not in Data, launcher nor Nexus Launcher.

 

I have even set my CoT nights to 8, can still see pretty well. A light is helpful but not necessary.

Can you try and disable "Fixed Eye Adaptation" and "ENB Further Darken Dungeons"

 

I know fixed eye thingy works with RLO, but only if loaded before (so RLO overwrites it) if loaded after the returns interior lights to vanilla. It might be doing the same thing with CoT, but CoT is not overwriting those changed settings, or something.

 

You should remove anything that edits the vanilla image spacing... for instance, I dont know what "SaturationBoost" does, but if it edits image spaces you have to remove it probably due to compatibilities with lighting mods. Also, activate just 1 Lanterns of Skyrim, not all ...

 

RLO is not active for you, BOSS only sends a message, it doesnt check the message :\ It's there because a lot of people use CoT + RLO and do not deactivate the Dungeon modules which causes lighting to become weird.

OK, fixed the lantern thing, derp.

 

Disabled fixed eye adaption and EN further darken dungeos, then saturation boost. Still not right, caves and night still seem vanila or not far off it.

 

Saturation boost just makes sunrise/sunset a bit more "warm" or orange, whatever you want to call it. doesn't do much else.

Well wtf... That is in all caves? Skyrim, Dawnguard or Dragonborn? Have you tried to reinstall CoT and pick another night level (like 4, which is already almost black)... 8 is super extreme darkness. Are you running full screen mode or windowed? If Windowed try fullscreen, are you in game/driver settings correct?
