Mods doesn't work as they should

Hello! Yesterday I wanted to install "Flora Overhaul" mod. I done everything they requested on Mod page, downloaded it via NMM, changed Skyrim.ini file and finally applied it to Skyrim, but whenever I start game I don't see the full effects of the mod, I see just several trees and a little more grass. I don't know why my version doesn't look as good as on mod page and other players. I have the same problem with Sharpshooter's Extreme Graphic. I also can't see effects of this mod.

If anyone knows solution please help me.

I am actually having a similar problem. I downloaded a race mod, a npc mod, and several others that I thought would make the game interesting. I followed the same process as above and I got nothing. I have this game for my xbox and after seeing all these mods I decided to play it on my laptop. Plus I thought it would make the game play more interesting. If I wanted a normal game I would of stuck to my xbox. Someone please help us.

YEah,im having the same with Flora Overhaul, i never properly investigated it as it wasn't really a major bug for me, maybe upload load order for me to have a look at?

"Screenshots of other players or the mod page" ... which version of SFO have you installed - Basic or the full version? The newest version number (1.81) is the basic version, which is for compatibilities to allow other flora mods to exist besides it and will allow more customization, this version does NOT add more trees and plants! The full version 1.79 adds a lot more things but is not compatible with a ton of other flora mods. There are also optional files that place more grasses and different ones (like Overgrown from the optional files) and the amount of grasses also depend on ini settings you might have set like [Grass] MinGrassSize=xx ... You might also wanna look into the mods http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/33582/ and http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/3288/ as well.

Cant help you unless you specify exactly which mods you installed and how and what would be the expected result and what are you actually getting....

As for now I've got only Flora Overhaul - Summer Edition installed but I unplugged it and installed flora v1.79 full version as said above. Still I don't see as many trees and grass as I should. And also for .ini file - I only changed the Skyrim.ini but I know some mods require few changes in SkyrimPrefs.ini, I don't really know what I must change in that file so if someone could tell me it would be great.

Can you check if you edited the right Skyrim.ini / SkyrimPrefs.ini located here: My Documents\My Games\Skyrim ... for some stoopid reason there are also the same files inside the Skyrim installation directory, which arent used by the game at all.

 

What must be changed is generally on the mod page, in the description. Nobody will be able to tell you that, you should read the pages of the mods... Watch out with online ini tweak guides, they mostly dont account for modded games, and can cause instability. A good one to use however is this one: http://itcprosolutions.com/skyrimguides/tweak_guide.htm (just skip the parts about texture/save game optimalization!!)

 

For SFO check this (these are settings I have, except one... iMinGrassSize for me is on 75, because I use Grass on Steroids mod... dont use without, higher values actually remove grass). Also "iMaxGrassTypesPerTexure" make sure it's spelled like that, and not Texture, it's a typo by Bethesda :P

 

Skyrim.ini should have:

AllFemaleGuards 5_0 Original Armors Edition-14039-5-0.rar - Like the Mod says I was expecting all female guards. I am still getting male guards.

Skimpy Guard Uniforms-14039-5-1.rar - Again like the Mod says all guards in skimpy uniforms. All guards are still in their standard uniform.

Time Lords In Skyrim v 1_3-36890-1-3.rar - Well I saw the screenshots and thought this might be fun. Got to the character creation screen and it didn't turn up.

Don't get me wrong I restarted my game and was expecting the above to take effect. The rest I dowloaded I expect to take effect later in the game or further along. This is my first time modding a game and I already have this game for xbox. I though getting it for my computer and modding it would make it more interesting.

- It's sets all Female Guard weights to 1-10, so they will have a C-D cup Breast when using Optional Skimpy Armors mod
- All Guards will now wear the standard, vanilla guard uniforms (whatever is in your CK)

 

 

Because of those changes this mod will only work on a new game... Can you create a new game and check?

 

Not to mention this:
********Must use with Apachii Hair...may cause CTDs without********

 

 

There are better mods out there, if you want good looking females in your game, btw.

Okay I missed that part was in a rush to download before I go on my trip. Yeah i started a new game but I don't see much different. What would you recommend for good looking females?
