Nemesis616
Sound mod let me think, Climates Of Tamriel - Weather - Lighting - AudioFantasy Music OverhaulHeart of the Beast - Werewolf SoundImproved Combat SoundsSkyVoice And i had all 3 Sounds of Skyrim installed before, but there seemed to be some incompatible problems with climates of tamriel, so i removed those aswell quite some time ago. that should be every mod that has something to do with my sounds.Actually a few posts ago i posted my complete mod list, in a non .esp version. For the bird question, yeah i had 3:Birds of SkyrimBirds and Flocks Hearthfire EditionskyBirds - Airborne Perching Birds i uninstalled skyBirds - Airborne Perching Birds quite some time ago, since the mod produced a lot of bugged birds on the ground who simple were frozen inside there animation. After removing it, the bugging birds disappeared. Edit:damn i fear that i have to restart my whole game...which is kinda set invested lot of time into mine, and all my archive that epic archievments weren't that easy to get =/Guess there is no way to clean a save file completly right?Tried the Skyrim Save cleaner, but guess that wasn't a huge success xD Edited July 5, 2013 by Nemesis616
Jhonnyas
Birds of Skyrim causes a lot of problems.Improved Combat Sounds and Enhanced Blood Textures have a direct conflict unless you use ICS-EBT Patch. Dunno what SkyVoice, and Birds and Flocks Hearthfire Edition is. Other than that, check Neovalen's post, which mods you have and which ones need cross compatibility patches. If you start a new game, I recommend feature over Eyecandy. Make sure that the features that change the game run smoothly, and always create separate saves. Once you have a stable game, you can always add textures and other stuff later. The Mod Organizer really does a good job at keeping your Skyrim Intact. Nemesis616
first of all, THANKS a lot for ur great help. Yeah my current goal is to make skyrim as stable as possible before starting my new game. Also i feel like crying for losing my first playtrough. Also u mentioned "Neovalen" by google i found this: http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited is that actually what u mean?If so, i probally gonna clean install skyrim again (i'm sure there was a guide somewhere how to perferm a real clean reinstall) and working trough this whole site. Also i saw that there aren't that many mods, if u compare them to the total mod number on the nexus.Would u say i shouldn't install any mods that aren't on the step site which i posted above? Also u meantion a patch for enhanced blood and Improved Combat Sounds, u mean the patch on the ICS files section i guess. Not sure i think i got it but well have to recheck it, Edit:SkyVoice is just a mod for using ur microphone for using skills (similiar to thuu'mic)Birds and Flocks Hearthfire Edition is also a bird mod, which was suggest in combination to birds of skyrim (actually that's the mod name on nexus) Also i'm not rly sure what The Mod Organizer is. Never heard of it actually, guess u don't mean the NMM right? Edit 2: is that what u meant? http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/1334//? thenobody0
Installing a lot of mods at once is never a good idea. Finding the cause of the crashes and freezes will be almost impossible then. I had a lot of crashes before too. Still get a few everyone once and a while. I think it's almost inevitable with a heavily modded game. I got rid of most of the more dodgy mods and things got a lot more stable.I'd suggest going back to vanilla Skyrim though and adding only a few mods at a time. The way I do it is I install a mod, play the game for a while and see if I like the mod and if it has any problems, and then when it seems safe and I decide to keep the mod I save my game. Don't install a mod, save your game and then uninstall it, this will cause problems. Edited July 5, 2013 by thenobody0
Jhonnyas
Yes, Skyrim Revisited is the guide I recommend. It took me 2 days to install the whole package (150+ mods) the first time and edit everything with Tes5Edit. Overall its a relatively safe and good experience. Problems start when you install SkyRE + ASIS over SR.Mod Organizer is an advanced Mod Installer tool, superior to NMM in every way. SR Guide uses it extensively. The whole point is that mods don't go into Skyrim data folder, but each mod is installed in a separate clean directory. That way you have 2 load orders. Mod Load order and ESP load order. Instead of manually adding/purging mods, MO does it precisely for you. If a mod is further down the list, it overrides the mods above, should a mod above already use the same files. This is indicated to you, and you can see which files are overriden, and which files have potential conflict. Great thing is, as long as you install texture/mesh/lod, any mod really without the need of an ESP, you can just toggle it on/off without breaking savegames. Nemesis616
would boss still work on the organizer? and on the guide there is the following text: Notice: This guide has been frozen while a replacement is created. does that consider in any way? Or just a ignoreable message= Edited July 5, 2013 by Nemesis616
Jhonnyas
Mod organizer allows you to integrate all tools including: Tes5Edit, DDSOpt,Wrye Bash, FNIS, BOSS, BUM, SKSE, Launcher, SUM, and all the patchers. All you have to do is add the executable to MO, the organizer does the rest for you. That guide was made for 2K mods but for me Way more stable with 1K. It has been frozen as to not edit it. There is a new version, but it is not yet complete.http://wiki.step-project.com/User:Neovalen/Skyrim_Revisited_-_Legendary_EditionThe updated guide even contains mod descriptions, so you can pick out the ones you like or Install them all.Only thing to be worried about is the order of the mods. Basically go from up to down and install in that order. If you mess it up, rearrange with mod organizer.
markus242005
This isn't an answer on how to fix what you have... it's how to get back to where you were in the event you're starting over: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13355/? This is a mod, made by AlCiao, that adds a ring to your inventory which levels you to 80, and lets you get all all 80 perk points and skills to 100. Yes, it's a cheat, but it's also good for when you need to start fresh and have a ton of time invested into a character. Alternatively, there is this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/14152/ Levelers tower, which will allow you to level your character 1 level at a time, it's very in depth, make sure to read the readme to understand where things are and how it works. As far as quests and equipment go, the fastest way to get back to where you are, would be console commands. Figure out what equipment you have and how much gold you have, then once you've started a new game, enter console and player.additem <refid> <# of items to put in inventory> So if you have 13,000 gold, it would look like this: player.additem 0000000f 13000 Hit enter, and it will add 13,000 gold to your inventory. The quests, you'll need to figure out which quests you've completed, then enter: CompleteQuest <QuestID>So if you want the "Alduin's Wall" quest completed, you would enter console and type: CompleteQuest MQ203 And the alduins wall quest will be a completed quest (which is part of the main quest) and the next part of the main quest will be where you start. Unfortunately, any loot or quest items you may need will not be added as part of your inventory, so be careful with this one. Here's a link to quest console commands: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Commands_(Skyrim)#Quest_commands And here's a link to Quest's, so you can find their quest id's in the event you do want to go this route: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Quests And lastly, here's a link to console commands in general, to add spells, inventory, etc...: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Console Also, at the end of the last link I just added, there is an easy way to start fresh, without going through the entire intro using bat files, but you'll need to read it thoroughly, so you can start the main quest, which won't start automatically, as well as you'll need to enter the racemenu after the fact, if you want to change your characters appearance, as you won't be starting like normal, so there won't be anywhere to option your character. Good Luck
markus242005
Forgot, if you're going to be CompleteQuest console commanding, make sure you complete the quests in order in each questline, don't just jump to where you're currently at and complete the most recent quest, you need to complete all prior quests first and in order, then complete the latest quest to bring you back to where you are now.
