channel0
hi,i'm probably not the first nor the last one to ask, but i'd like dragonborn to have a voice, my voice to be honest :Di'd like to give it a try, but i have no clue on where to find all of the dragonborn's dialogue lines, and how to proceed to implement the sound files into the game(probably in Skyrim - Voices.bsa or Skyrim - VoicesExtra.bsa). i extracted the voices.bsa file with BSAopt. it seems all the sound files end *.fuzhow does one convert .wav or .mp3 files into .fuz ?other than that there is linking each voice file to the right dialogue in skyrim.esm....any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated :)cheers
AlduinWorldEater
You might be able to convert the file formats with Audacity, maybe...not sure, haven't really fooled with it for that purpose.
channel0
i figured i would need the creation kit, looked it up, and found this : http://www.creationkit.com/How_to_generate_voice_files_by_batch and this : http://www.creationkit.com/Bethesda_Tutorial_Advanced_Dialogueso if i read this right, i need to convert the .wav files to .xwm via xwmaencode. but since the dragonborn doesn't require LIP files i'm not sure if i can make a .fuz from just the .xwm file.it's a start :) the advanced dialogue covers added quests etc, but has no clues on how to add voice to the main character. greentea101
Making a .fuz file from the .xwm alone is no problem, the .lip file is optional. You might want to use Unfuzer instead of the command line.
