Epicfail18081
The title is rather self explanatory. I've got the NMM running fine and I'm only using that, just to add. I have the L96a1 mod from Millenia enabled. I try to run the Custom Fallout: New Vegas option but it comes up with 'No custom launch command has been set' thing. I've seen a few threads with the same label, and everyone on them has said the same thing. "If you have the mods enabled, you can just run the game as normal and it will work". No. It doesn't. It's really annoying me, since no-one is in the exact same boat. I know that you can set a launch command in the 'Settings' button via the little Fallout: New Vegas tab up top. Otherwise, yeah. Please give me a bit of help here.
AkTion1005
Then get NVSE and run NVSE or just use the run Fallout New Vegas one :p
JimboUK
Select "Launch NVSE" from the drop down menu if you have NVSE installed, if not the select "Launch Fallout New Vegas" instead. The "Launch Custom Fallout New Vegas" has to be set up and is for adding arguments or launching things like the 4GB enabler.
Epicfail18081
Sorry for the late reply, but this does seem promising. I'll edit this post to say whether it works or not.Couldn't possibly work any better! Thank you guys so much! You don't need a custom launch command. All you need is New Vegas Script extender and you're set! Edited August 4, 2013 by Epicfail18081
mayhawpie
To demonstrate that the NMM Custom Launch Command feature works do this:1) Open NMM then "Settings" (at top of menu bar) + "Fallout: New Vegas" (Tab).2) Enter "nvse_loader.exe" (without quotes) into the "Command:" field under "Custom Launch Command" + "Ok".3) Launch game using the drop down selection (from the menu bar) "Launch Custom Fallout: New Vegas".4) Test NVSE has loaded properly by: bring up the games Command Console and type "getnvseversion" + "enter".
