Dead mens respite word of power (maybe spoiler)

Hello,

OK, so a preface is, I did the bard quest for dead mens respite. But unfortunately didn't go through the door to get the word of power.

As a result of this - the greybeard guy wont give me any new word of power locations until I've done it.

On Googling, it seems I need the book in my inventory to get the ghost guy to open the magically sealed door.

I've added the book using console command, but it doesn't work.

If there's a way for me to have the quest marked as completed so I can continue getting the misc quests from the Greybeards, I would like to know.

After searching, I can't seem to find the code for that particular quest. If anyone knows it, it would be great.

Alternatively, a way to remove the quest (bard one) so I can redo it would be nice as well. Or any mod that can help me achieve the goal.

Or even through some hack opening the wall, or just anything to get the misc quest done.

I'd rather not start a new game, as I've never completed Skyrim, and this is my 3rd playthrough after the previous 2 ones were bugged.

Thanks in advance,

Astaria.

He (ghost) should have lead you to the book. It is a skeleton down one of the paths and he is sitting next to it. Go back and get the book. (King Olaf's Verse)

I did some investigation and I do not see any known BUGS w/the Book, again that I could find.

I do not know if using the Console Command to give you the book will work - but you could try that if all else fails.

Yeh... I did already take the book to give it to the bard quest. Which takes the book unfortunately. Tried adding it with console as well.

Looks like I'll have to start over.

Pickpocket it back? I did that once with a different quest - where I did not realize I needed that to finish the last part of that specific quest. It worked and I was able to finish the quest.
