Wolfstorm
@WolfstormAbout half the files you have here on Nexus say people need to ask permission, or are outright forbidden, to modify, convert or reupload them elsewhere. I must admit that kinda bugs me coming from someone who keeps saying how much of a cathedralist he is. Really? I didn't even edited that part of those mods. I just released them and closed the comments sections (as I could not afford time to offer support to players). But then, if it is like that by default, it just proves my point. Edit: it is really like that by default, so it is worse than I thought. Initially I thought only mods from before 2016 had permissions closed by default, but it seems that every new mod have it closed. So, here you have your answer, OP. DoctaSax
If permission to copy from you is not explicitly given, it's assumed to be denied. It is like that by default because that's what's legally required of the site. You're the one who has to go to the trouble of giving the permission. Wolfstorm
I remember reading in the TOS that I was granting right of distribution to the Nexus, so I assumed it was open by default, except for mods released before the permissions system was implemented (since the mod author could have been gone before it).
