braxton1992
I have been having these issues probably since launch, over multiple installs on the same computer, and before I even started using mods.It is as if some textures are stretching towards my monitor. This doesn't happen all the time, and can be remedied by fast traveling or just restarting the game.Example of the issues:http://i.imgur.com/NeHQDTT.pnghttp://i.imgur.com/L0fPFsG.png These types of issues have persisted through driver updates as well. Specs:CPU - Intel Core i5 750GPU - Nvidia Geforce GTS 450 SLIRAM - 8GB Any assistance will be helpful. Thanks in advance. Strokend
What quality levels are each of your Details, as accessed through the SkyrimLauncher (NOT TESV)? That might be what's causing it.
UrbaniteZex
I can confirm your issue on a GTX 580 SLI setup. According to Nvidia, it's a known game engine issue related to screen resolution and anti-aliasing. It seems to appear at resolutions of 2560x1440, 2560x1600 and above with anti-aliasing set to 8x. On my pc it goes away by lowering the anti-aliasing to 4x, or dropping the screen resolution to something below 2560 horizontally. I hope this helps you out. I'm not seeing the Decal there, but I guess that wouldn't matter. Try setting to the medium classing and see if the problem persists. If it does, it's likely not related to detail settings. braxton1992
Dammit, I had one job... Anyways. Decal Quality - Ultra Okay, I went ahead and set Details to Medium. I should have a large swab of time to play today, so I should come across the issue if it still occurs.Thank you.
braxton1992
Alright, I played about two hours of Skyrim and didn't run into any issues. Yet... So without me playing through the game and fiddling with settings until the issues reoccur, does anyone know what setting could be causing the issues? braxton1992
I played Skyrim a bit with the High Detail preset, and still haven't ran into the issue yet. So I'm still looking for the culprit setting. Again, any help is more than welcome. EDIT: I will be testing out the use of AF enabled in the Nvidia Control Panel as apposed to the in-game setting, as recommended by urbanite_zex. He also recommended enabling AA in Nvidia Control Panel, but the override setting is not available. Any workarounds to this would be welcome.
