Executor64
do it yourself armor via workbench would be my fiirst thought of immersive post-apocalyptic gameplay Would love very much if you could collect trivial items, and putting them tougether into an armori'm talking dozens and dozens of combinations of stuff...The way I see it, improvised armors like these need a base (leather jacket, suit, jumpsuit, old uniform... whatever) and over that you could implement added protection and accessories (tire rubber, knee-elbow shields, ammo belt, all sorts of metal protection (like the welding mask on raider armor) and other items that would otherwise be just junk lying around in the wasteland) of course it would be alot of work, and creativity to assure you could put as many items on as many armor bases in as many locations on body as possible
kingwilfre16
now if only we could also do that with weapons
Executor64
well in my opinion primarily the clothes of each man should be different, but hell why not... theres alot of improvised weapons online, for examplehttp://tag.wonderhowto.com/make-homemade-weapons/ I only fear they would not get used, as handgun, shotgun and other real weapons are availible almost instantly in game (if youre not running "guns are twice more powerfoul, but 3 times more rare" mod) so these homemade weapons wouldn't really have a purpose, unless you plan on doing primitive tribe story setting. Oh i miss those days of Fallout 2 where you were an actual primitive tribesman, it really brought out the decay on humanity after the war :P
