I have a set of mods that will follow this blurb, but as the title says, I have the cursor stuck in the screen during missions and in the hangar. It also appears during cutscenes. any help would be appreciated.

Mods:

Advanced Zoom

Better Spawns 3.0

Coyotes Missions

Dynamic Paper doll

Lance AI Boss Accuracy

Lore Based Mechs YAML

Pilot Overhaul

Pirate Tech lite

SMMO_V3_06

TTRulez AI No Rescale

Weapon Models Pack

Yet Another Mech Lab

Yet Another Mech Lab Mechs

Yet Another Weapon

Enable Infantry

Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes I do too, as well as the mouse not working to aim with anymore. Game now is useless!! I think it is the recent windows update because nothing else has changed.

Same, I can't see it being Windows alone or there would be hundreds here complaining of the same problem.

The only mods we have in common are:

Advanced Zoom and

Yet Another Weapon

I do also have TTRules_AI vs your TTRulez AI No Rescale

Besides removing all mods and doing a file verify I tried adding PrecisionSights but although the mod did change the sights, it did not fix the mouse cursor problem.

My game is on Epic.

Got a reply from Piranha

Hello there,

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We have reproduced the issue and are currently in touch with Epic Games to try and figure out the cause. In the meantime, one possible workaround is launching the game directly through MechWarrior-Win64-Shipping.exe located in C:\Program Files\Epic Games\MW5Mercs\MW5Mercs\Binaries\Win64 folder (default installation directory).

^ This should work if you don't have the DLC

If you do have the DLC:

From: a8bmiles

Try going a step further and fully disabling the overlay by going to:

Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Extras\Overlay\

...and renaming both the .exe files and both the .dll files (I just add a .NO extension):

  • EOSOverlayRenderer-Win32-Shipping.exe

  • EOSOverlayRenderer-Win64-Shipping.exe

  • EOSOVH-Win32-Shipping.dll

  • EOSOVH-Win64-Shipping.dll

Note, this also breaks the ability to do in-store purchases for games that have these types of transactions.
