ZarkinFrood12
Ever since experimenting with ENB's I've experienced a problem (at least I think its a problem) with how the light interacts with my character's eyes. The trouble is, it doesn't. No matter what ENB I choose I'm left with eyes so dark even the brighest blue irises look dull and lifeless. Now this is either a bug (perhaps somethin to with Eyes of Beauty?) or this is just how ENBs make your eyes look. It's not that the texture is missing. The eyes just look dull and lifeless unless you either have a light source directly infront of the character, or you move the camera at a certain angle. Its weird. Anyone else had the same problem/know of a solution?
prod80
ENB should not make eyes dull and dark...For all accounts it should put some life into your eyes with reflections and properly set saturation levels and so on.Can you put a screenshot? prod80
You're using Somber ENB ...It has that... it's because of it's filters and AO. It has very high contrasts. Those screenshots you see on it's page are taken by screenshot artists and are edited & also use things like facelight and so on to give some live into eyes and to remove all those ugly shadows normally placed in the face by the engine and ENB (AO). Download a less cinematic flavored ENB and that will probably bring your eyes back to live. Or download a mod like this one to light your face at all times (but can be unnatural): http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13457/
ZarkinFrood12
That hasn't really answered my question. Why is the front on shot basically black when the angled shot is just fine? I don't think contrast has to do with it. And i've had the same problem with 10+ different ENBs (im just using Somber atm)
Goliatron
Zarkin, for what it's worth, I've been trying to get rid of this problem for ... Well, way too long. It is the one thing I genuinely (and highly) dislike about ENB. You are not alone, though I don't have a solution. It is caused by ENB's high-quality shadows, but don't ask me why. Jeir
Have you tried disabling AA/AF in the launcher?
Sigurd44
Should any AA/AF/FXAA/TAA and AO not always be set to application controled or off (in .ini files, in launcher, in Nvidia CP and in Nvidia Inspector when you use the later one) while using ENB ? That's some sort of a base rule. Certain ENB might allow some hardware TAA, but then they state it explicitely in the description.
IceKK
I know how to fix this problem, but i need some help from someone with very basic blender/3dmax skills.
SentelThecrusty
I wonder if this is fixed in 2020?
