LaurellaBellaBean
In the Sims games, if you have an outfit that's revealing you can use an accessory undershirt or leggings or something. I've found a ton of armors on Nexus that I love...except for that g-string that goes up the butt or that nipplage exposure. Is it possible to do something similar to what you can do in the Sims 3 and Sims 4?
anjenthedog
the best I can offer is that you layer individual items from different clothing/armor mods. As I noted in another thread, I use a bit over a half dozen or so items from about a half dozen clothing/armor mods to outfit my player. Admittedly, it can take time to track down the bits and pieces that suit a given player's sense of style and function. Many outfits come as "separates". SunJeong for instance, often comes as a group of individual pieces. I don't know any other way to find them than to patiently scroll through the various armor offerings, and keep one's eye on the new mods page with regularity so you can see the new stuff as it comes in. LaurellaBellaBean
Thanks. I saw your other post where you mentioned combining items. There are so many armors/clothing that I love...if it weren't for the ass hanging out, etc. I have a husband and children and my PC is in the living room. I don't want to deal with comments/questions and yes, I'm not into looking at nipples all the time, haha. Skyrim isn't as mod-friendly as the Sims games and I figured the solution wasn't going to be as easy. anjenthedog
I understand. well it is mod friendly, but it definitely leans toward male fantasy more than towards the taste of demure women :wink:Signs of the times.... Too few women left in the west. maybe all over the world. dunno what to say on butt coverings. (well... I will later down below) Top is easy. Any number of cuisses (sp) and shirt things (I'm not a chick and don't know the right names) and dresses too Also stock and traditional armors are very modest as long as you don't install the GuyCentric versions (bikini armors of various sorts)Example BUT.... (and a big one too) ... you're going to have to check in the mod categories armors and clothing sections to browse and choose what you want like this, which isn't my taste, but it does appear to cover the nips and your butt is modest-(ish?) https://staticdelivery.nexusmods.com/mods/1704/images/50968/50968-1628603740-439695050.jpeg hmm...but only if you're a UNP female Or this (Northgirl 3BA), which is form fitting so not really "demure" in my book but at least everything's covered or... ... well... this is silly. Just go to the armor and clothing section, have a quick browse of the snapshots they offer, and if any peeks your curiosity, open it and review in detail... otherwise got to page 2 and do it again... and so forth. I've reviewed them all (the armor pages and clothing pages, idk, 30 or 40 armors or clothing per page) over time, a few dozen here a few dozen there... You can clear many pages in an hour...so it pays to do your homework... (as free time allows) Part of it is dictated by the body model you've chosen (CBBE, CBBE-3BBB, UNP, UUNP, BHUNP, etc etc). in fact, that can cut down the time spent reviewing a page of entries. If an armor set doesn't say it supports the body model you're using for your player, skip it (unless you really love it. then write down what it is, cross your fingers, and go hunt for a version that works with your body model) and then review the next one... Oh PS> Keung's furs are a great "over cover". The coat, poncho, and whatever that item is that is a fur that keeps your shoulders warm (can't think of the name) will all equip atop armor, so it gives these three some ability to layer. (there are other items that can be layered but its hit and miss and takes time to find ones that do and that you like) So anyway, the poncho really covers up your mid section from neck down to just above the crotch. My female player could be 9 months pregnant and you'd never know when she wears the poncho, fwiw... You'd still need to cover the butt, but that can be accomplished with some pants, push come shove . There are a lot of armor and clothing mods that offer pants whether called pants or leggings or whatever. Little armor protection (afaik 20 for the coat/poncho/other-thing, but it's more a visual thing (and cold aware afaik for endurance players) An example of such leggings is offered by Midnight Breed armor. Has a set of leggings that are like wearing sweat pants in look, (only an example, this isn't a fashion parade) I've rambled more than enough Good luck! anjenthedog
Oh one more thing. Project Proteus is a mod that will provide the ability to change armor and clothing armor ratings, so you aren't limited to "true" armor in order to get sufficient armor protection. Big cheat yeah...but whatever works for a player. I'm not recommending that you use it, but I am providing you with the knowledge that it's there. (it has other useful features, in fact, that's not a primary reason people get it afaik) good luck again time for a couple of episodes of Archer and bed. LaurellaBellaBean
I don't mind some sexy armor; the Northgirl one is actually one of my faves. I'm just not a fan of the porn outfits. I'm thinking of switching to the CBBE body since I've discovered that Bodyslide is so much fun. Anyway, yeah, thank you for your answers. In the Sims 3 and 4 the undershirts, bras, leggings, etc. are just textures that are sort of painted onto the body. Like an overlay, you could call it. Looks like the only equivalent to that in Skyrim is a Racemenu body paint.
anjenthedog
Well, I'm glad you found Bodyslide&Outfit studio enjoyable  PS> Heh... I don't mean to equate "not demure" with "not sexy". North girl is (IMO) not demure, since it still leaves little to the imagination, but it is sexy and still it does cover everything. And remember to keep an eye out for armors that allow ?separates? if you want to create your own look good luck
Moksha8088
Sounds like there is a need for Battle Burqas! Cover up from head to toe.
