digipirate
So I am trying to edit vgalleyrailing01.nif with nifskope. Being a total noob this is kinda tricky though  The only thing I am trying to do is removing the floor panel, so only the railing and roof remains. Any hints anyone? Cheers! neunen
without looking at the nif itself (im at work) when you click on the floor panel does it select the entire nif or just the floor panel? if it selects just the floor panel, then you may be able to get away with selecting the floor panels nitristrips, right clicking and select block>remove branch.but make sure you save it as something like vgalleyrailing02.nif so you can always get back the original if you need it.if the floor panel isnt a separate mesh from the rest, it might be easier to delete it in something like blender or 3ds max, then import the new model data over top of the original one. digipirate
Thanks for your reply M8! I solved it by doing this: 1. Highlighted the floor panel in Nifskope2. Manually deleted all the relevant vertices under NiTriStripsData (phew! alot of them)3. Then deleted the relevant triangles under hkPackedNiTriStripsData There is probably an easier way to do this, but it worked :) Thanks again! hackeysack
is there a way to use my blender models, or do I have to do the mix match thing with Nifscope?
Reddimus
Hi, I've used Nifskope before to edit some Oblivion stuff so I have all the definitions and whatnot that allow me to do that. However, I can't do the same with Fallout. Does anyone know what I need for that? Thanks
