I have not had this problem and know how to fix it using the ck. What about the body/hand texture mismatch? Is there a way to remedy this? Thanks in advance. rhowington Posted July 16, 2013 Share Posted July 16, 2013 You are missing the hand texture from whatever texture pack you are using. You need to add these files to your textures;femalehands_1.ddsfemalehands_1_msn.ddsfemalehands_1_s.ddsfemalehands_1_sk.dds. That way you won't be using the default ones. DeroHero Posted January 8, 2014 Share Posted January 8, 2014 (edited) I do not understand why this texture will not replace, the weirdest thing about it is that previously I did not have this problem.I deleted my entire skyrim folder, uninstalled nexus mod manager, deleted my save folder and deleted the nexus mod folder. I then re applyed the back ups for all these folders I had on my external where the hand texture was actually working properly befor backing it up now I copyed the folders - Documents Saves - C drive game, nexux mods - and c drive skyrim main common steam folder. Yet... after re installing everything and re copyed the working folders for some odd anoying reason this texture is perminantly screwed now. http://i1017.photobucket.com/albums/af292/Dero_Hero/soz_zps46e3422f.jpg I really just want the good looking textures but for some weird unknown reason no matter what I try and replace the body textures with it's now always white hands that are unable to be replaced with new textures. Any ideas? Because I'm all out of ideas. The race I'm useing is the Mithra Race which by default uses CBBE body, the textures I replace the hand with are also CBBE textures so by all logic the hand texture should replace but for some reason it simply will not replace the hand texture, the body replaces every time but the hand remains this colourless clearly difforent texture. @.@ Please help me solve this, I've tryed every texture pack I can find, nothing is working now. Also try to refrain from linking nude images in the future :smile: Sorry I edited that for you, I have a habit of seeing the human body as art and not as something offensive this causes me to often forget that others could possibly be offended by it. um yes I have even tryed a fresh save but that still has the problem.I have tryed - All my saves- Reinstalling the race- Reapplying the textures on all races includeing vanilla races so they all match- Re adding the skeleton for the hands It's crazy like nothing I do removes the problem and the weridest thing is this wasn't like this all the time, only recently after puting on some mods that may have conflicted with the race, yet simply uninstalling and re installing hasn't changed a thing. Could there possibly be some hidden files somewhere causeing this problem, do some mods install information outside the skyrim folder? It sounds like you are in a bit of a pickle :P As far as I know, no mods will install anything outside your Skyrim folder.
