Should i stay out of freenode IRC?

i am unsure if this is the correct section of the forum to post in.

reason of this post is simple: today i made a lot of polls concerning quakenet stuff (wich the people that read what i write will probably know that matter quite a bit to me) and i thought i might as well post my last poll of the day here.

 

ive been staying out of freenode because of the fact that alb removed my ao from his channel because i made a joke wich he didnt get, and because of my "spam" in #memod.

 

and alb, im still waiting for an answer from you. a "come back i gave you ao again" or a "stfu" would be appreciated. being ignored is something i totally hate.

Firstly: Why the hell are you posting a post about this on MWS - has nothing to do with here. Secondly: I've been busy with other things of my own - I haven't been on when you have, and frankly, reading your PMs to me between when you are doesn't really convince me I should trust you too much.

 

You've acted chauvenistic and anti-gay in my chatroom before - both times I felt a desire to ban you, but didn't either time. Theta decided to ban you for a while for the former, as is her right, and you complained about that at the time too. I see no reason you should have Auto-Op, your "joke" wasn't much of a joke, it sounded more like a threat to anyone but you - as was confirmed after you left by others.

 

You can stay if you want and behave like everyone else... I don't care mate, I don't keep people banned - but if you want to run away in a rage because you don't get AO, be my guest. This is like children's ranting - it's not like it matters, just stay there and chat if you want to.

 

You talk about your "clan channel" on Quakenet a lot mate, well, if you don't like the way things are here you can stay there - but if you aren't, you can come and act normal in there - we usually op everyone in there, just don't give AO.

 

Now - it was improper to start this here and I'll say no more of it here. If you still have issues about this contact me on irc - and if I am there, I will reply.

i acted anti gay because thats what i am. also i thought there was freedom of speech in the world.

i didnt leave in rage because i didnt have AO, its because i felt offended from all of this.

and i talk a lot of my clan channel because clans mean a lot for me, i dont see why thats a problem. its just that those channels are very, VERY loud, and i often disconnect from them because i would otherwise go insane, and i would connect to freenode instead.

i posted here because, as i said before, i would not connect to freenode because i felt offended by that. also, i dont know why its so terribly "improper", i mentioned it on the topic and in the post itself that its for #memod guys only, and also i see many moderators here that are also from IRC. if you dont want me to post here, then go ahead and remove/lock this post. my reputation is probably ruined too much anyway. where else should i post anyway? i told you to contact me on quakenet, and in a week i havent heard diddly squat about you.

its too bad that you are behaving like this, i thought i could place my trust into you, but you taking this "threat" so seriously is just plain stupid. you kept saying that marxist tried doing something similar as well anyway, along with many other things, and ive seen him acting a bit weird as well sometimes (no offence), but why isnt he banned or deopped? and i told you SO MANY TIMES, that it was a JOKE, and that i wouldnt do it anyway cuz otherwise where would i hang out, i cant believe that you still think that i was actually threatning you, and you said that your bot would protect the channel anyway.

i have no issues, i am experiencing a hard moment currently during my personal life (i wont go into details), and its been so for over a year now, so thats why i acted "funny" if you could call it that.

just when did you warn me about it? if you had actually TOLD me that you didnt want such comments, then i would have stopped, just as i stopped with the trivia right after you told me to turn it off.

and those "chauvenistic" remarks as you call em (honestly i never heard of the word before), all i can say is, if you watched those links that i gave you, then you might as well believe me when i say its not something women should listen to, if i would show something like that to my sister she would probably slap me in the face or something ~~ .

 

so, if you come to the point in wich you FINALLY realize that this was all a joke, that i did NOT really threatnen to ban everyone in your channel (wich is against my principles anyway), that it was all a JOKE because of that "discussion" of *IRC power* that was going on, then you can contact me on quakenet, if im there, or by sending me a pm here (hopefully i set it up to send me an email when i get PM's, but ill check the username anyway every now and then to see).

 

i find it sad that it had to come to this, i enjoyed chatting in those channels, memod was a mod that i felt great respect for, its too bad that i had to actually temporarily leave it just so i could see if someone actually CARED (wich of course was NOT the case, no one tried contacting me, i even gave some of the channels on wich i am so you could maybe leave a message or something).

 

its funny how you said you could not trust me with what i said. its not like i did anything really bad at all the times exept for that joke and expressing my ideas (wich now i guess is a bad thing to do if my ideas dont match yours).

 

anyways, ill be waiting for an answer, ill keep track of this post until it is completely inactive or until its deleted, and if by then you still havent contacted me i will regretfully have to forget all of this, memod included, so it wont be on my mind anymore.
