Mookeylama
after getting this new PC i installed tons of stuff as usual, but i just noticed that i've got (just parts i think) Visual Studio installed. the dates are around the same time i was installing all the new stuff, so maybe i thought it was Visual C++ or something. Studio is pretty big so if it's not needed for the game or any mods i'm gonna uninstall. so anyone know of any mods that use Studio?
rhowington
I can't see where Visual Studio could or would be used by Skyrim. I haven't used it in a few years and then just to program in FoxPro.
Mookeylama
yeah i can't think of a need for it either. i kinda remember it being mentioned in context w/ skyrim. like maybe it was needed for a particular mod, or it caused problems ect. can't remember, so thought i'd ask here
t4t3rs
Are you sure it's not a Visual C++ Redistributable package? Those are included as dependencies and are installed automatically for numerous pieces of software, e.g. many Steam games. aeropage
I code in Visual Studio for work, and play lots of Skyrim mods. The two are unrelated for any player. Feel free to uninstall.
