  1. thanks showler! that's a bummer tho. anyone know when that'll be available again? it's definitely "when" and not "if" right? surely that'd not completely get rid of search on a site this immense
  2. seems no way to do a search through the mod page threads, or to get to the forum equivalent of that page to search from there. is there any way to search through the vast collected knowledge of many years of users commenting? thanks
  3. i really loved how we could help ourselves w/ issues we had by searching through pages (years ect) of post to see others who had the same issues and how to fix them. i'm not seeing that ability on mod pages anymore (go to forum version of pages to search box). is there a new way to do it? please don't tell me it's gone
  4. Building a new pc and was hoping for help. The main thing I’ll be playing for awhile will be good ole oldrim classic. Yeah, I’ve played sse for quite awhile and will likely get back to it again (or AE) but for now I’m on le and would like to know which you think would be better for LE. The gpu will be a rtx 4090. From what I’m reading the AMD 7950x3D has a great benefit in SSE because of it’s 3D cache, but not sure if that benefit would also apply to oldrim. The intel 13900k has quite a bit better single core performance, which should help oldrim, but not sure if it’d be a better boon than that Ryzen 3d cache. Also the 13900k runs quite a bit hotter. Was hoping someone who still plays classic skyrim might have some advise. Thanks!
  5. yaaay! thank you all! yep Picky, i seem to be able to see posts i made correctly and chronologically again, as it had been. fantastic thanks so much. this is so much more efficient than alternatives. thank u!!
  6. i've used this a few times as it seems to make for better shadows and correct sunlight ect. but i always wondered if it hit perf? are u basically rendering a texture twice? anyone know if double sided flag in a mesh effects performance at all? thanks
  7. so at the risk of sounding old and tech stupid, how do you folks keep track of your own posts now, to see if someone responds to u? i always just checked "my content" but that only shows my posts from like 6 months ago. seems like tracking threads would get unwieldy quick and u'd still need to spend lota time checking. any efficient way? thanks
  8. yeah i've known of that follow, and i use it, but it's not as efficient as keeping track of, or searching your own posts. u gotta still search back through the entire thread to find your posts and/or replies to such. and half the time nowadays the search function for that stuff doesn't even work lol. and of course u need to remember what you posted so u can search it's keywords, ect no, i still believe that search your own posts is an integral part of any community. imagine if u couldn't search your bank statement or the like lol
  9. wholeheartedly agree. does anyone know if there's any efficient way to keep track of my own posts? the function that is supposed to do that here, no longer works. is there a way to "follow" a post or thread? or a way to get a notice if someone responds to my post?
  10. yeah that search has been busted for months. real shame too as it's such a basic fundamental feature. i wonder, is it lack of bandwidth? maybe there are some less needed features that could be removed to get a functioning search feature back.
  11. in pending friend requests, i used select all, and then accidentally hit "remove" rather than "accept". i hadn't checked it in awhile so i ended up removing like 20 pending friend requests. usually the default of anything is the most used option, and i'm sure the most used option for that feature would be accept rather than remove.
  12. hey admins, do u plan on fixing the search at all?? the last posts that i can search are from sept 16!! wtf. going on 2 months. might as well just remove the feature entirely. please fix this.
  13. Unfortunately, as of 23 Sept 2022, this error has returned. I have checked multiple users profile and EVERYONE's last recorded post in the "Only posts" suction is 16 Sept 2022 or earlier regardless of how many posts were made since 17 Sept 2022..... also the content listings under "Topics and posts" are becoming non-chronological. yep back again. i can get hitting limits...but for at least 9-10 days now and running?
  14. i have sooo many bookcases. every mod i get seems to add more. the average player couldn't fill them ever lol. i'd love to remove a ton but i still want a few here n there. they're hard to remove and replace w/ non functional ones and add books ect. anyone know of a bookcase asset already w/ books on it? thanks
  15. finally tried this and yes, lowering the nif w/ nifskope make the thing appear lower ingame. so for anyone using tree mods that have floating trees (shakes fist at tamrelo) this may be a good option rather than lowering each tree individually. don't know how that would affect dyndolod tho
