Need help making parts of a texture invisible.

I was doing a reskin of the Witches Robes, and I wanted to get rid of the flap that hangs out of the belt because it sort of throws off the rest of the set I'm working on, I tried erasing the flap in the 3 different texture files but there is still a white flap hanging, anyone have any idea of what to do?
