darkrabbit Posted February 20, 2009 Share Posted February 20, 2009 ***SPOILER WARNING, READ ON AT YOUR OWN RISK*** Okay, this thread is regarding the mod 'Ruined-Tail's tale' made by Simyaz. And I'm having some trouble near the end of the quest, details below. *SPOILERS BELOW* I'm in the Shadowscale stronghold, under the Imperial City, come to rescue Ruined-tail yet again. Ive killed Twilight and his gang and went into the prison section, unlocked the cell and talked to Ruin. He says some things, then runs off back the way I came, into the arena where Twilight was. I loot the chest, go back out and Ruin engages combat with me. I was told, via the guide, to drop the Journal he left me after he ran away, onto the alter where his body is. I do this, and nothing happens. I have done it over and over again, dropping it in all different places, and nothing happens. I dropped it there and left the game on with Ruin attacking me for over 20 minutes and when I came back he was still attacking me. So unless Ive missed something, or I'm doing something wrong, the mod has bugged or something. Whatever it might be, it's stopping me from continuing and as you can imagine, it is very, VERY annoying. If anyone has had this problem, or knows how to solve it, I would be very grateful. Quirkyblonde Posted July 13, 2010 Share Posted July 13, 2010 I have this problem too, and I honestly have no idea what to do to fix it. I've even tried knocking him out and hiding in the jail room, leaving him alone in the arena area to give him time to read it. Still nothing happens. What am I missing?
