lindsayca
About Me!Hello there, I am lindsay of the Celtic Alliance Mutli-Gaming Clan. I have introduced myself into the world of modding TES:IV recently and enjoy it thoroughly. Spending 2-4 hour making one dungeon level may not be interesting to you, but its thrilling to me. Taking the time to research those bugs, glitches and errors you experience in game and in cs is important but time consuming; not mentioning the fact that you have to correct those errors for best results in game. What Can You Do?Since I am a fairly new person with little experience in modding, I need you; a team of modders are always better than one. First of all, my priority is to recruit a modder with some scripting abilities. If you can script difficult quest and other things that use scripting, thats awesome! But mainly, I would appreciate someone who can script simple quest to average quest. I also need multiple voice actors whom are talented even in the smallest of ways. Variety of voices is essential to a successful mod. Of course a person can simply use silent mp3... but where is the fun in that. At the moment, I wont need any concept artist or 3D graphic artist... but in time I will. If you do have experience with 3Ds Max or Blender or various graphic programs like Photoshop CS3 then I will gladly accept you into the team. I could use a storyline/plot editor and an audio editor as well. The editor of audio should be able to morph voices, whether it be the same or relatively similar to the style of race voice. Expected Or Soon To Be Expected Experience!Quest Scripter: Must have the common knowledge about scripting. Use of OBSE scripting would be great but not necessary. And an understanding of making a quest script in TES:CS. If you can teach other team members with little experience in scripting that would be awesome. Voice Actors: Must be able to speak and must be able to record quality .wav files. Suggested audio recorder is Audacity. Concept Artist: Decent Draw/Sketching skills. 3D Graphic Artist: Must be able to design quality 3D models using Rhino3.0 or 4.0, 3Ds Max, Blender or any other 3 cad program. Texture Artist: Be Able to design textures using Photoshop CS3 or any other related program. Storyline/Plot Editor: Has a wide variety of vocabulary and a vivid imagination and creative writing ability. Audio Editor: Must be able to record quality .wav and be able to morph the .wav files to sound relatively similar to the races in Oblivion. Contacting Me!I am of course online quite often, this week is presidents break so I'm available most of the day, so you can email me at [email protected] or [email protected] [NOTE] The Internet connection I usually use is a bit unstable at the moment, I will not be on as often as I had wished to this weekend. LoginToDownload
Care to elaborate more on your project? You'll find very, very few modders are willing to commit to something like this with such little information.
Eshenaleros
I can help with story writing, as well as concept sketches, but I need to get a new scanner before I can upload the concept drawings
lindsayca
Thanks for your interest. There is no specific project at the moment, but my goal is to form a modding team that will discuss and brainstorm ideas for a project and we will work from there. Currently, I am working on a mod that includes a dungeon called Bandit Hideout which will be the hub location of the quest Killing Bandits Is Fun. We will surely start with projects such as this... easy but not that easy. Sure enough, we will work our way towards larger more complex projects, but not until we have a decent team of modders whom vary in specialties. Eshenaleros: Thats a mighty generous offer, I would appreciate and welcome you as a storyline scripter for the team. Please send me a bit of your work to [email protected] or [email protected]. Your concept sketching may become useful once we have a good 3D Design Artist on the team, seeing that concept art is important to inspiring 3D Artist. Any further questions just ask. You should have the story bit by the end of the weekend

EDIT: I just remembered, I have a deviantart from back when my scanner worked! you can find it here:http://eshenaleros.deviantart.com/of course, I haven't been on there in years, so my drawing skills have improved (Still can't color worth a damn though...) SirMagus
Well, you don't seem too experienced on this forum, and I don't know too much about what you have in mind of making.
Eshenaleros
Well, you don't seem too experienced on this forum, and I don't know too much about what you have in mind of making.Magus! Lindsayca, sirmagus is a beginning modder who just released his first two mods a little while ago, but they are decidedly high quality for his experience level. You have my vote. of course, that's if magus wants to take part... @Sirmagus: we're just getting together a team to do things right now. as far as it goes, we have a script writer (myself) and apparently someone who can organize this whole thing. once we have filled to capacity (or maybe somewhere short of there) I'll begin a script for something the group votes on. If I have a working scanner by then, I'll also upload concept images, and If I have a microphone i can use with a computer by then, I can also manage some voice acting
