aaronwind
Hello everyone, this is the first time I am posting a request so please excuse me if I go about this the wrong way. The mod I am thinking of is simple. A hotkey that activates slow motion and pressing it again deactivates it. Alternatively another hotkey could deactivate it. The simplest way to do this I think is to use the console command "sgtm X.X", I have been using that via console but it is annoying to always pause the game to enter or exit slowmotion. As I understand you can't bind console commands to keys using conventional ini changes so a mod that uses scripts would be required. An example would be if the mod allowed say the key "V" to be bound to "sgtm 0.3" so that the world would be slowed to 30% of normal time and then bind another key to "sgtm 1" to return to normal.I know nothing about scripts so I don't know if this is possible, or too much work to be worth it. Now the nexus hosts many slow motion mods for Skyrim, but all of them (to my knowlegde) either slow others considerably more than the playable character or stop others completely. Most of them are also based on either casting spells/shouts or using rings to activate the effects (not all of them though).I don't want this to be gamebreakingly overpowered, I want everything slowed equally for a cinematic effect. Say, activating slowmotion just as you finish casting the master fire spell or as you freefall down the sky towards a body of water, stuff like that. Another reason I want this is because in past Bethesda games mods like this have actually helped with my framerate when combat gets hectic. An example of mods from past Bethesda games that do what I want:Oblivion - WHOOSH: http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/7777/?Fallout 3 - DK_BulletTime: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/1193/?Fallout NV - DK_BulletTime: http://newvegas.nexusmods.com/mods/35823/? It would also be nice if hotkeys and slow motion speed were adjustable in MCM, but to be honest, I would take any slow motion I can get so this isn't a requirement for me.I hope I have made myself understandable and done everything right, if the mod I am thinking of (or something similar) has already been made I apologize for wasting your time but would request that you point me in it's direction.Thank you for your time. Chaophim
There is a mod called 'ring of the timelords' (might be on workshop) - you could hotkey that and it would do what you're wanting.
aaronwind
Based on your suggestion chaophim I found the following mod: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/13137/? (Ring of the Time Lords - slow-mo ring by Sorydrew). This mod, although quite good, is not exatcly what I am looking for because it slows the world down considerably more than the player (I think that all slow motion mods based on the slow motion shout do this, but I am not sure). Thanks for the suggestion though, I appreciate it. thenobody0
There are several mods which add powers or spells that slow time.
