JustChill01
Actually, all I'm interested in is those "scripted as dead, no matter what" NPCs I find throughout the game. You know, those that don't come back to life using either "resurrect" or "recycleactor" in the console? My character (this makes me sound a little less crazy?) feels bad for them, so wants to return them to life. Yes.. I know I've slaughtered many in the name of the Stormcloaks and the Dark Brotherhood. Not to mention the countless bandits that are just trying to survive, and here I am raiding their homes. So much hypocrisy.. *facepalm*
Bozzz123
I don't think its possible because those dead npcs arent actually npcs because they were never alive. I'm pretty sure they are just containers essentially. The only way that I see is when you cast the spell the container (dead npc) is replaced by a living npc modeled after the container (dead npc). This would be a very painstaking process because you would have to make a new npc for every dead npc container in the game.
SeraphimKensai
As far as I know Bozzz is correct.Playing around with my own homemade spells Horrid Reanimation and Glow of Glory. I've encountered a situation where after loading new cells a couple of times the necro ash pile never happens and after the effect is over the once reanimated target acts alive after the spell is expired. Now the interesting part, I didn't use any scripts, but the reanimation effect lasts like a week of game time.
JustChill01
Well, as least I don't have to worry about the whole "ash pile" situation, as there's some mod out there (Necromancy 101?)I can't quite recall what it's called, but thralls that die don't turn to ash unless you put garlic into their inventory. I noticed as well that the reanimated thrall seems alive after loading a new cell sometimes. No blue glowing effects, and looks like the original NPC. The unfortunate part is you can't talk to them, ever.I like to purchase homes all across Skyrim (Hearthfire helps with this)....Just for the sake of giving "exiled" NPCs a new home (My Home is Your Home mod). Along with Cicero I kept Vittoria Vici & Mirabelle Ervine alive, and sent random vampires to live in that one Blood waterfall cavern. It's hard to feel for Dawnguard vampires, given how bloody ugly they are.So right now I'm working on tediously making all Dawnguard affected vampires less "Buffy transformation". I do this by going into the game, creating a character of the same race, and "spf 01" into the console. Then I go back to the Creation Kit and Import the NPC file 01.npc, making necessary changes.Neon green lips with interpolation slider all the way to the right for "texture mismatch" problem solving, and upper eye socket interpolation slider all the way to the left to remove that dark forehead thing.Eventually I'll be done. :mwahahaha: I'm just not sure which beautification mods affected all the changes. (I'm sure none of this has much relevance. I tend to ramble.) Edited July 25, 2013 by JustChill
