hotzpacho
I sort of new to modding in skyrim, but have some experience. I was wondering if anyone could explain how to create new food items for recipes? Basically i want to know if it's possible to introduce entirely new items such as vegetables, fruits, and herbs. i would want these items to look realistic so i'm assuming i would need a 3D program to construct the designs. Does anyone have any advice on where to begin and or the processes i need to follow? Thank you in advance!
aviform
Yeah, it's totally possible. If you go into CK, then Magic >> Potions >> Food, find a food item, duplicate it, and build your food off of it. You can create a new model/texture, but there are a lot of modder resources here and on TSAlliance that have free food models you can use.
SeraphimKensai
If you do this, might I have but 1 small suggestion. Make rotten verisons of each of your fruits/vegetables and for the vanilla ones too. Reason being, there is no way possible that I should expect to find a perfectly good apple in a dungeon, especially as I'm clearing past spiderwebs that have long been there.
