Can someone make a Halo mod for New Vegas from scratch? Please.

Ok well that answers my other question then you got the other parts needed python etc. if you used that page. Only thing I can suggest is reinstalling all the components if you haven't already. And make sure you configured the import/export nif scripts http://niftools.sourceforge.net/wiki/Blender/Configuration

Are you just wanting the weapons or a full on halo'esque questmod? If you are wanting a new area etc I would suggest doing what you can in geck creating the landscape, buildings etc from the vanilla game you want to use (can always retexture them don't need blender for that) and when you get to a point you need help with models maybe someone will assist you. You know the old adage "If you build it they will come." might help get you the help you need.

Yep I have tried all that to no avail. Thanks though. Now back to the halo topic.

There are several portable blenders, already setup with python, nifscripts etc. I use them.

Well it sees the .nif files now but I cant import them. My computer is a problem child.

You probably already know this but just in case;

file -> import -> NetImmerse/Gamebyro (.nif & .kf & .egm)

If you importing a weapon also select "Import Animation" and "Import extra nodes". I'm not sure animation applies only to KF's or nif transformers as well, but it's best to be safe. Extra nodes will definitely be essentail, for the sighting node, projectile node etc.

 

I'd like to help, but when it comes to making new models completely from scratch, I'v only done very simple nifs.
