How do I use a screenshot of my Skyrim SE character as a profile pic?

It is the resolutions settings of your screen shot. For instance :Horizantal 1920 x Vertical 1080

You need to use a tool like Windows Paint. It has a tool to reduce the size. If you have a better photo editor then I recommend you figure out how to reduce the size of the screenshot with it.

Open Paint. Look for the word Resize. Left Click on Resize. A pop up will appear with Resize and Skew. Left click on the spot to chose Pixels for sizing. Remove the check mark in Maintain Size Ratio. Then type the size required by Nexus Mods to set the resolution so the screenshot will fit. For example if your screenshot is 1920 x 1080 you reduce it to what the maximum Horizontal and Vertical size allowed for the Nexusmods avatar settings.

Resize and Skew. Type the size number in the horizontal you want to reduce your screen shot in the box to. Type the number for the Vertical in it's box. Click Ok. If it looks good, still, after being reduced you're good to upload it.

Thank you! I've spent so much time trying to figure this out and no one could give me an answer. I knew the size of the picture was a problem, but I couldn't figure out how to fix it. You are the first person to actually answer my question on how to fix it. Thanks again!
