Trantez
So here I was watching a bunch of Skyrim mod introduction YouTube videos and drudging through the forum for it, but I couldn't find the idea I had. I like being dumb in Skyrim and what better way to be dumb than throwing everyday objects? I've seen someone turn anything into a weapon, but why not be able to pick up items and toss them? Imagine this situation. I have a piece of bread on the table. I go up to it and hold down E. After holding it for a while it's equipped as a single shot ranged weapon. I throw it at someone and they take damage. I reequip whatever I had before I tossed it. Ready for battle. I've never done modding before but I can imagine a bit of how it could be worked out. Instead of throwing the object to cause damage it could be a placeholder for an invisible missile. So what I'm throwing is the item, but what's causing damage is the missile. This way there's no need to change the object itself but instead add damage on top of the object being tossed. That way it retains the bounce when it connects where the missile hits the target. So what I picture happening is object is launched forward from you with an invisible missile inside of it. It hits something and then the invisible missile does damage and cannot be taken. The piece of bread or whatever I threw just drops down wondering wtf just happened. Corpses? Anything. TOSS ANYTHING. I could see something like weight affecting how the missile calculates damage, but would not affect the actual object besides it being thrust forward. I've also seen a lot of ranged weapons that are thrown like arrows. Shoots straight and lands stuck straight into someone like an arrow. Arrows. Can they spin? Can they be modded so they rotate on their axis without the velocity being affected? If arrows can be spun then other missiles should be able to be spun as well. I would like to see thrown weapon mods with some more OMPH. Throw an axe and hit someone with a throwing axe with the handle wedged deep into their forehead. SUCKS I DON'T MOD, IS THERE A VISIONARY WHOM CAN TAKE UP THIS QUEST?
Synthblade
Be aware that I am not a modder, but I do believe you can achieve this using the telekinesis spell. There is a mod here on the site (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/5176//?) that improves the spell, making it pick things up and throw them faster, and even from a further distance. Using that mod you can kill someone by throwing cabbage (seems to be the catch phrase on that mod, lol). -- Unfortunately it does not allow you to pick up corpses, but I found an alternative for that: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=87289597A mod on the Steam Workshop that is another Telekinesis spell that allows you to grab & throw people/animals/monsters (now that I think of it, I wonder if it will let me grab dragons LOL). In addition, there is another mod here on Nexus that makes your arrows spin (looks awesome during a slow-motion kill with a bow at long distance) http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/37358/? Trantez
Ahh~ I meant for the spin that it was head over tail. Damn fine mod, the spinning arrow and is perfect for bow weapons. I meant more like this for thrown objects. I can see it working with the telekinesis spell as well. http://i.imgur.com/GSbdy7e.jpg

Trantez
Yes, seen it, used it and they are thrown like arrows. Was referring to this actually. How awesome they would look being thrown with spin on them.
