Skyrim continuously closing to desktop.

Hello..

 

So I've been having trouble lately in Skyrim.

I decided to completely start over and delete all my older game saves. I got rid of most of my mods (ones I felt were of no use or cheats)

But it has been crashing at (around) the same area every time I get to it. Right after leaving the Helgen Keep (In the very beginning of the game where you follow the Stormcloak or Imperial) and as I am heading halfway down the mountain my game crashes to the desktop.

It's been getting incredibly annoying.

I have a feeling I f***ed something up in the load order. Can anyone help with this?

Do you use BOSS? If not, I'd recommend it. Also consider using Wrye Bash.

Save a bit before that and uncheck some mods. A couple a ta time until it doesn't crash anymore.. That should help.
