akiva279
First of all thankyou for looking at this post. I'm not a modded myself an have no experience beyond adding mods to nexus and dropping in files to textures and meshes. I would like to replace vanilla bodies with type 3 so npcs have them as well as new characters I create, along with rest tired hair and faces. (Eyes as well but not as important) basically I want to start a game and be able to chose race, hair and body through the standard interface and replace exhaustion npc models with type 3 bodies and clothing. So far I have been unable to do it on my own with just tw mods. How do I make this happen? Thankyou in advance for any responses.
M48A5
Just follow the installation instructions for the mod http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/4280/ For hair and eyes you will need http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/8942/ For hair, eyes and clothing: http://fallout3.nexusmods.com/mods/17631/
Oubliette
When you install Type 3 properly and run archive invalidation it will automatically change all the female meshes and textures in the game into that body type. You'll have to find a hair, eye and face mod that you like and install it as well - choose carefully if you want want that also affects vanilla NPC's, most will only work for your character. I think the Beware of Girl Type 3 installation is probably the easiest one and Fallout 3 Redesigned should do the faces hair and eyes very well, if you want them to look somewhat 'lore friendly' but it I think there's also another that's far 'prettier' and less gritty, you'll have to look for though. akiva279
Thank you for the info. Tonight I will try this and report on if it worked. I tried all day yesterday but I think another body mod is getting in the way. I had an old one I didn't like so I disabled it but its still showing up.
