MarshalAmimKagori
What are the best mods currently available for a new player? I'm looking to go through the standard story basically with better visuals, sounds and fixes for any of the numerous game breaking issues Bethesda is known for not fixing. Thanks a bunch... I'd search through myself, but I'm sure players who have been at this game for months would have a much better idea as to whats hot and whats not. =========================================================== My Rig: ECS A780GM-A 1.1 || Athlon 64 X2 5200+ Brisbane @ 3.2ghz || 4096mb G.Skill DDR2 1066 || 512mb VisionTek Radeon HD 4850 || HT Omega Striker 7.1 || Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit. ClosingGap
Well I Think the best place to start is Here: Top 50 Files of FO3 Nexus Hmm, i knew there was a use for that button. ;D Too bad people don't have the common sense nowadays to search for simple things like that button themselves. MarshalAmimKagori
I know about that :P I want peoples opinions on what the best mods are.. I can easily search for hours and hours and keep downloading crap. I want your views on what the best mods are.
Smosh
Yeah, but my preference might not be your preference. You could still spend hours and hours downloading crap doing it this way as well. I agree and say to look through the top 50. Check out the ratings and more importantly how many people rated it. I'd put more credence to a mod with a rating of 8.5 with 80 votes than a mod with a rating of 10 with 3 votes.

Guest
I'm not sure how well going by ratings would go, i don't think i've ever seen anyone rate anything below a 9 ever, seems like people who would rate something below a 9 just don't bother rating anything for some reason, so everything is rated <9 of 10. And there's no way that EVERYTHING is good, that's just not how it works. Anyway, i'd recommend reading up on mods and such first. Just read the description and see if it's interesting. I try to get mods to make the game harder, but i've put an obscene amount of hours into the game. Obviously a first time player isn't going to crank the difficulty to very hard and increase the spawns by 5x and, on top of that, significantly weaken their character.
