Don't be every guild leader

That would require some Voice acting for sure and also change of the name of the top leader, add a faction rate to second in Command or whatever. It have bothered me some as well really. But honestly, you do leave the guild in good hands and they all appreciate the job you really did for them all as they would never been able to do it in the first place. They do trust in you, do not forget that. I would liked to have a more active role as a leader really, do my part in the requiting process, add new members and new quests, but still, to make it more immersive would require a lot of work and voice acting for sure. If you run through the quests line to fast, specially as a new TES player, becoming the leader of the pack does feel very very strange. I also get surpriced every time I took a longer break, went into the next TES game and wooot? They want me to lead them? The good thing with Daggerfall is that you rarely get to become the top guild leader as they will take you down a couple of positions if you do something they do dislike. So if you are in the Thieves Guild, doing a job for the Fighters guild that involves any members of the Thieves Guild, you will loose your top rank in TG and get spanked, sure get to know what they think about you and tell you to do a much better job and get going with it now or PISS OFF, the most common sentence in that bloody game. So PISS OFF :D As soon as you start questing for TG again, they will forget about everything you done, pretend it is raining, whistle and you get top rank again in 6 quests or so, all random as they are all random as the bloody whole Daggerfall is random and that's also something that can destroy the whole Immerse as well.

Lets hope there will be other options in TES 6, but I doubt it really. You will lead them all. When I started with TES, both Daggerfall and Morrowind, I wanted to become the King over them all, the Emperor, someone all looked up to, living in a bloody fairy tale, seeing magnificent surroundings, buildings or whatever, a clean bloody fairy world, so I did dislike the filthy look of stuff. I had many community projects, where we tried to clean up both Morrowind and Oblivion with damn fancy textures at buildings, bridges the ports, ships and whatever, but still, we ended up with Qarl's stuff, our old and wonderful mentor, but it doesn't matter. We learned a lot in the process and had fun together. I do like the dirty look these days, a lot. It is realistic as we do not live in a bloody fairy tail and if I wanted a game like that, there is optional ones for sure. Damn, our real 100-1000 year old cities, smelled like sh1t and was so damn dirty that no TES game will ever get close to it. I dare not to travel back in time, and where do we end up if we did? Not where the planet is today for sure.
