Wow, you don't have much faith in the Modding community, do you? It's people like you that hold the community back, to be honest. The question of whether or not a Mod should be made should never need to be asked - the only question is how it might be made.

 

The whole "hot coffee" thing is completely unrelated anyway, as it involved normally inaccessible content being made accessible, much like the small amount of controversy in Oblivion when the "stick-on" bra was removed before that was "fixed" via a patch.

 

Creating something like this from scratch is completely different to "unlocking" it, and there's no problem with it whatsoever. Whether or not someone will every actually make it is a different matter entirely, of course.

I lose faith whenever someone suggests something like this. Why should we backstab the Bethesda when they kindly released the G.E.C.K. and allowed us to mod Fallout 3 and enhance/change the gameplay to our liking. I know I say that but having a mod that adds in a sex minigame isn't what they wanted. They could easily release a new patch that makes it next to impossible for us to mod at all and then you all be scratching your crotch wondering why they would do that.

 

And, how bored do you have to be to need to see virtual sex, if you're that lonely....there are plenty of free sites that let you see the same crap in reality. I know most won't listen but I hope some of you will think this over and finally agree or partly agree. And I hope full heartidly that no one EVER makes it or even considers to make it.

Who's backstabbing Beth? they chose to buy a franchise that used sex (even if it was a fade to black) & there have been sex mods for Morrowwind & Oblivion & no one got hurt over it.

 

And you seem to think that sex is just to get our jollies off, sex can be used to help tell a story as well. And besides This isn't a kiddie game, this one is about a post-apocalyptic Wasteland a place IMHO where morality should be as devoid as the laws. And I'd like to RP it as such.

I haven't played the previous fallout games, but judging from the FO3's dark content like over the top violence, racism, slavery, sexual abuse etc, I would imagine nudity of fit rather nicely in the game. I've played Witcher U.S version and the card minigame wasn't removed, the pictures were just censored (but can be unlocked via mods). The witcher had way more mature setting than FO3, and they nobody gives a damn

Sex is part of survival human beings will do whatever they can do survive and live another day or two, Sex will always be one thing that will never go away. Sex would be a common trade commodity in a post apocalyptic society. therefore belongs in fallout in some way shape or form, but then again it isn't for everybody, there fore when people make MODS they do so on their own preference (haven't seen many MODS that cause more people to go to church on Sunday like Lucy west does ;) yes she does follow her on Sunday hehe) and if you want another proof of my point look at any country nowadays SEX SELLS, i was in Crete Greece one year and saw a FULL NUDE female on a billboard on the side of the road wanting me to by something i am guessing was a tv dinner or something (cant read Greek) and this is in plain sight of every man woman boy girl child or adult that happens down this major roadway in Greece. so your opinion that putting sex in fallout 3 is backstabbing Bethesda is IMO not entirely thought through. As a previous poster said Bethesda bought the fallout franchise KNOWING that there was sex in the other games, i am of the opinion that it wasn't included in this one because of some legality and rating issues which seems to be getting more and more ridiculous in today's day in age. (need an example? you show a full frontal of a woman and the rating starts at R, you show a mans penis and it automatically jumps IMMEDIATELY to NC-17, c'mon now are we that much of a homophobic or stuck up society as to allow this?) so in closing i will say that you may have your opinion, but posting it here knowing full well that it was going to cause a stir in the community is IMO (*IN MY OPINION) poor taste, and specifically mirrors the way society is today in the fact that people seems to want to cause a debate over EVERYTHING, weren't we supposed to be past all of this by the 200's (according to literature of the past about the euphoria society). The previous Fallouts had sexual content.

Of course nothing happened, t'was only a blackout. But sex was implied.

 

If sex could be modded into Fallout 3 with role-playing falvour and in-game benefits, why not add sex?

 

I remember using a sex mod for Morrowind because it gave me temporary stat boosts and a baby for role-playing pruposes.

Now that was sex done right.
