Mod related issues (specifically RE2)

In relation to Mods in the Resident Evil 2 remake:

 

1) Has anyone else had the issue of a mod working through the game up until you take the tram down to NEST, upon which it fails and you're normal costume bound?

 

2) Are you able to mix mods, such as a costume for Claire as well as a face change (two different mods), having them both be applied simultaneously?

 

3) Looking to donate to a mod maker and would like to know how best to go about that...?

 

*) I am brand new to this mod scene; I think it is wonderful and long overdue! Thanks for reading if you did, and for responding if you do as well~
